Detached villa with private pool in the Torrox countryside

This lovely villa has kitchen and bathroom with spacious living/dining area. At the front of the house there is a built-in BBQ area. Perfect for outdoor cooking/dining. The large terraces are south-west facing, surrounded by fruit and olive trees with beautiful sea and mountain views. A large private swimming pool 7 x 4 meters and 1.35 meters deep, surrounded by 60 sq.m terracotta tiles. This country retreat offers tranquility and privacy. There is a great variety of fantastic country walks with stunning views right on your door step. Also the Tejeda Mountain Range National Park is only 30 minutes away. Ideal for trekking/bird watching etc. A 10 minute drive takes you into Torrox Pueblo a traditional Andalucian village, with winding streets. In the centre of Torrox there is a open square surrounded by orange trees with shops, bars and restaurants. Torrox Costa has long sandy beaches with a wonderful promenade. Torrox with its winter climate offers marvellous holidays through the entire year. A high wheelbase car is recommend for staying at this villa. The track is mostly concrete for 700 metres, then 300 metres dirt track. My property manager will meet guests near the village and show guests to the villa. The times for meeting are between 14.30 to 20.00. I cannot accept late arrivals until the next morning as it is in a rural location.

Cute little villa in stunning surroundings
Beautiful little secluded villa, very peaceful and not overlooked. Basically furnished and equipped but was clean and has everything you need. Only the last part of the road is a dirt track but once you've done it a couple of times, it's absolutely fine. Lovely pool area, our only suggestion would be some new outdoor furniture as it's all a little bit tired. Great system of meeting Dean at the BP garage, really friendly man, doesn't bother you at all throughout your stay but keeps the pool clean and responds quickly if you need him. Torrox and Frigiliana are both gorgeous places, not far to drive and well worth a visit. Supermarkets within 15 mins drive. We loved the place and can't wait to go back.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme et la piscine de ce Cortijo. L'accueil de Dean était très professionnel et son aide précieuse! Encore Merci à lui. Le chemin pour y accéder est un peu compliqué mais après 2 passages, nous n'avons plus eu de difficultés pour y accéder. Il pourrait y avoir plus de matériel en cuisine, mais nous nous sommes débrouillés. Nos enfants ont adoré la piscine. Nous retenons cette adresse pour de futures vacances dans la région!

La maison en elle même est bien la piscine bien par contre l acces est horrible il faut un SUV pour acceder a la maison c est un chemin hyper accidenté et c est tres mal indiqué. A notre arrivée logement sans hygiène aucun menage de fait du gras sur les placards autour du gaz pas de cafetière les poeles sont inutilisables pas de ciseau pas de couteau qui coupent.....proprete des lits suspecte les matelats sont taches pas de clim pratiquement pas d ustensile de cuisine des mpustiquaires percees donc envahit de moustiques le four est infonctionnel a l extérieur les transats sont sales les matelats des transats sont repugnants il n ya aucun equipement pour les loisirs dans la piscine

A haven of peace
I went there to wind down for a few days, and from that point of view the place was ideal. Perfect peace and quiet, complete privacy, nice little pool that was large enough for a swim. Final part of the journey there by car is pretty tricky, but manageable. Moreover, the owner was very helpful when difficulties arose with the payment process. One weak point in that the electric oven did not work, and that needs fixing.

Rural y falta de especificación de la entrada
Es un alojamiento es muy rural porque está en la montaña, lo malo la via de acceso, está alejada de la carretera principal y si es un turismo cuesta mucho la entrada. La única pega que le pongo es el frigorífico muy pequeño para guardar las cosas y actualizar un poco el menaje de la cocina. Los dos sofa camas son un poco duros para dormir. Observación para el propietario: actualizar las fotos de la casa, el porche frontal y lateral de la casa no es como se ve en las fotos. Por lo demás, un ambiente idílico para descansar y desconectar a quien le guste el mundo rural.

Tranquilidad y relax
Sinceramente es un lugar idóneo para irte a y despejarte. Quizá el camino de llegada usen poco complicado o incómodo, nada que no pueda hacerse bastante bien, pero merece la pena al encontrarte apartado de todo y rodeado de naturaleza. La gestión de propietarios y representantes muy correcta.

Depaysement assuré!
Maison perché dans les montagnes, depaysement total. Chemin d'accès très difficile pour une voiture basse. Quelques petites choses à revoir notamment au niveau de l'entretien dans l'ensemble : canapés en fin de vie, refrigerateur trop petit, pas assez d'ustensiles de cuisine, il fait vraiment trop chaud l'été sans climatisation. Sinon à part ça, si on recherche une maison hors des sentiers battus et sans vis-à-vis sur la piscine c'est là où il faut aller. Merci à Dean.
