“It was a lovely stay, the hostess was a very gracious lady, the breakfast was great, fresh bageutte, croissant, boiled egg, jams, coffee or tea, fruit juice, all in your own semi private dining area,just enough to get you going for the day. It was also a easy walk to pretty much everything! The room was tastefully decorated with plenty of antiques, and the bathroom was up to date and clean, overall a great stay”

“The property and host was amazing. Breakfast everyday was delightful. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning for the room and it was very hot, but you can’t control the weather, right? Otherwise, this was a perfect and delightful stay in the French countryside!”

“Cette charmante demeure d'hôtes est très belle à tous points de vues. Valérie et Christian sont devoués au bien être de leurs hôtes. Confort, nature, petits dejeuners, échanges de bons conseils.L'endroit est paisible et parfaitement bien localisé pour visiter plusueurs Châteaux, villes et domaines vinicoles. ”

“Absolutely charming location, very comfortable and welcoming. Our family stayed for four nights while visiting the Loire-Valley and would absolutely recommend. Hosts were very communicative prior to our arrival, and welcoming. All amenities were provided including toiletries, and we had a dining terrace and front terrace to ourselves with a beautiful garden surrounding us. ”

“Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.”
