Perfect holiday stay

This was the first time on holiday with small children and this home was perfect! Lovely and quiet with a private pool. The location was out the way, but we had a car so wasn’t a problem. Would love to stay again, and would recommend this stay to others! Perfect if you want a peaceful holiday.

Pleasant Stay, but not in Tourtoirac!

Very well equipped property - great to have good sharp knives and a huge supply of pans, crockery etc, but we were rather surprised to be charged for linen when the listing does not mention this. The pool is absolutely lovely particularly with the resident frogs, but the alarm did sound a few times for no apparent reason (including 5 am in the morning once). The property is several Km from Tourtoirac. Bernard, the host, was very welcoming and absolutely charming! This is a great place for visiting the Perigord region - the caves at Tourtoirac are absolutely outstanding, the Chateau at Hautforte is super and there are a number of outstandingly good small restaurants within easy reach (Brin & Thym L'Aventure and L'Auberge des Tilluels are all exceptionally good, but you need to book for lunch and/or dinner to be sure of a table)

Heerlijk ruim huis met fijn zwembad

Super séjour !

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans le gite. Situé au calme, avec de grands espaces (séjour, salle à manger et les 3 chambres) et une piscine rafraichissante. L'accueil s'est très bien déroulé à l'aide de Stéphanie qui nous a remis les clés et présenté le lieu. De nombreuses brochures ont été rassemblées par les propriétaires pour décrire les différentes activités et visites des environs. Un barbecue complète la prestation pour les grillades de la soirée. Lieu à recommander, vraiment très sympa !

3ème séjour dans ce gîte et nous sommes toujours ravis ! Gîte très bien équipé, situé dans une zone très belle (mais peu touristique !) de la Dordogne, non loin tout de même des principaux lieux à voir. Piscine très agréable. Je recommande !

Très beau gîte avec piscine naturelle (hélas un peu fraîche en septembre). Accueil très sympathique de Bernard. Et proche de merveilleux endroits. A voir absolument la grotte de Tourtoirac (à 5 minutes du gîte) et le château de Hautefort. Excellents restaurants alentours.

Gîte parfait pour un séjour au calme

C’est la 2e fois que nous séjournons à La Palue et tout était parfait à nouveau. Le gîte est très bien aménagé, agréable à vivre et au calme. La piscine agrémente à point nommé les chaudes après-midis d’été. Les environs sont très beaux (Hautefort, Tourtoirac, St Mesmin et ne pas louper Lascaux !). Nous avons apprécié la communication avec nos hôtes et l’accueil qui nous a été réservé par Bernard qui s’est montré très disponible ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Ruim huis

Het huis was erg ruim, wat heerlijk is. De stenen muren geven het huis wel een specifieke geur, die je later (thuis) nog ruikt. Wat minder fijn was, dat het niet schoon was. Woonkamer, keuken, badkamers, we hebben deze eerst zelf schoongemaakt. Minder fijne start van een vakantie!
