「This hotel is one of the Old English Inns. Very vintage style, clean, and comfort. If you want to try some typical English countryside, it is. The location may not suit for those don't drive.」

「A wonderful older hotel and restaurant. I stayed in the tiny single room - this is not a complaint, it’s a great little room for one person. Some people in reviews have complained about road noise - they should be realistic about their expectations. It’s an old property right next to a road. If you are someone that’s sensitive to road noise」

「lots of character, hope we didnt wake the other guests with the creaky floorboards! Great breakfast, lovely staff very comfortable double bed, but not too wide. good wifi. Great cafe next door for more food and coffee!」

「Very competitive price for a comfortable room. Accommodation( total of 4 rooms) was adjacent to and accessed via the village pub , but we did not hear a thing ! Nice outdoor space for relaxing or dining/ drinking. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again. Only considerations are staircase up to accommodation and breakfast is not served in the pub. 」

「Very picturesque & welcoming Inn, excellent & friendly service throughout from an early check in to a free drink on arrival, our room was comfortable & clean with breakfast items available in the room, also tea,coffee & hot chocolate. Dinner was available in the pub dining room,pricey but extremely tasty. We will return.」
