Home Away From Home
What an amazing property, amazing breathtaking views! The cottage is cozy and comfortable with all the amenities needed. I have stayed at many cottages and this by far was the best sleep I have had yet! Bed was fantastic! The added perk of antenna tv allowed me to watch some Thanksgiving football, and the wifi worked well to stream some shows on my tablet. Jackie is such a personable and friendly host, I couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you so much for all the personal touches that made me feel so welcome, I will definitely be back in the near future!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Enjoyed watching the waves and the fire pit. Enjoyed barbecuing and ice cream. Enjoyed going into town. Loved hearing the waves! Would recommend to others. When we thought we had a problem with the coffee pot, they had another one at our place within hours!

Perfect for what we needed
This was a great alternative to renting a hotel room. We had a wedding in town and this was a more economical option. We had plenty of space to get ready for the wedding. Everything we needed was at our finger tips. It was nice to have the ironing board and iron available for use. The view was awesome! Jackie could not have been a better host. We would definitely come back again.

Peaceful Lake House
We loved staying at Jackie’s lake house. The property is clean and well-maintained and close enough to the beach for the waves to lull one to sleep. The house is bright and sunny and welcoming. Communication with Jackie was excellent. We loved it so much we booked again for an upcoming trip!

Absolutely beautiful!
We enjoyed our stay so much and cannot wait to return. From the moment we stepped in everything smelled so clean. From the comfy beds to the beautiful lake view we just enjoyed it so much. The location is also perfect for visiting the wineries and not a far drive to harrow or Kingsville. Jackie was also an excellent host to reach out to for any questions!

Two day getaway
I took my good friend away to celebrate her birthday. This cottage had everything we wanted, including AC! The only thing missing with us was the cottage was not on the beach, but we enjoyed listening to the water, right outside our door. The cottage was just like it’s pictures. Would definitely consider booking it again!

Lovely cottage and setting. Very comfortable and serene. Enjoyed the waterfront and surrounding areas. More care needed in sweeping cobwebs and bugs from gazebo/BBQ area as well as amended seating. Deep clean required in kitchen. Firepit should be at the back by the water .

Great location and such a cozy cottage
This is a great little cottage for a getaway with friends, family or just your partner. Beautiful spot right on the water, easy to get to and lots to do in the area and within a short drive. The cottage is well stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Jackie the host is very accessible and so easy to communicate with, Would absolutely go back!

Two perfect days at the Lake
Quaint, homey cottage right on the lake. Comfortable, clean with lots of charming touches. So close to the water we could have been on a cruise ship! Every amenity you could ask for was included. This was a family getaway, mother (85 yrs) and 2 daughters. No mobility issues at all. Excellent!

What an amazing little gem. This rental has everything you need and more. Beds are extremely comfortable, everything provided. We enjoyed sitting in the front room sipping our coffee watching the wild life and lake boats passing by. I would highly recommend this rental and definitely would book again. This property was everything we were looking for and more. The atmosphere was comfy and cozy. Loved sitting watching the neighbours create an ice rink on the lake. Amazing stay
We had initially booked a different property but due to someone who stayed the property previously falling sick, Jackie didn’t want to take chances and gave us another property to stay at. We are very thankful to Jackie for that. The new property was at an amazing location, close to multiple vineyards. It was very secluded with a lake view and was very beautiful.

Relaxation by the lake
I had an amazing time during my 2 nights stay at the cottage. I was able to completely relax and unwind while enjoying the sound of the waves gently rolling up to shore. Days were filled with nature walks,good food and the occasional nap out back on the deck near the water. Nights included some delicious meals on the BBQ,bonfires,hockey on the big screen and star gazing out back by the lake. The only thing I wanted or wished for was another night to do it all over again. Already planning for the next time I’ll be able to get back to “A Day At The Lake” cottage! Jackie was an AWESOME host and communication was 5 star all the way!

This is an adorable cottage in a great location. The kitchen has plenty of cookware and nice dishes. Wifi works well. People booking this should be aware that the staircase to the second floor is quite steep (it's a charming older house and that's the way they built them) and the access to the lake is 1) directly into the water by a ladder from the very nice deck (there's a fence with a gate) and 2)a narrow "beach" made of large rocks a couple of lots over. It was quite peaceful during our stay ( December).

Just what we needed
We wanted a peaceful R and R, on the water, before winter set in. We got it. The sunroom became our 'go-to' spot for much of our stay. Loons, gulls and geese danced on the water; waves lapped the shore. Since we both grew up on/near the water, it was just right. Very comfortable beds; great shower head! We even got the local weekly paper delivered. We will try to return during wine tour season. We highly recommend this location! Lynn and Liz

From the beginning of the weekend to the end the cottage was cozy, comfy beds and very relaxing. Everything you could need was provided and we had a great weekend watching the waves from the sofa through the windows! Highly recommend

Beautiful home with amazing view
This house was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. The view is amazing and it was a very relaxing stay. It was a quiet location and the host Jackie went over and above with making the home cozy and welcoming. There were yummy muffins waiting for us and little chocolates as well. I highly recommend staying here. It was well priced and there is no way you would leave disappointed. Great location with lots to do in the local area. Very charming, and quaint.

Quick lakehouse escape
Wonderful cottage and hosts. We walked up to the property and entered into a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen where Jackie had left us some homemade goodies. The rest of the cottage is spacious and well appointed! Pictures do not do this place enough justice. THE VIEW!!!! Priceless, but in this case extremely affordable. Beautiful walk in shower, comfy beds, updated to have a modern feel, but keeps it's important cottage vibe. I will be rebooking A say at the lake again and again. Thank you very much for sharing your place with us

Relax & Unwind
We feel so relaxed after our stay at this cottage. The views of the water and natural light make it feel like you're outdoors most of the time. The house is charming & clean! We made great use of both the front & back decks. Jackie is an exceptional host, providing all the little necessitates to make your stay superb. We brought our bikes & enjoyed some local wineries, as well as lots of fun for our 3 year old son at Colchester Beach nearby. We also brought our pup, who was dying to get in the water! Perfect family or couple retreat. Thanks again, Jackie!

One word for the property, PERFECT!
This was our best experience for a home away from home. Our host Jackie had taken care of every little thing, which we wouldn’t have even thought about a host doing it. The property was super clean with a beautiful decor. Location was amazing with the lake view from two bedroom. It looked as if we were sailing in a boat. Thumbs up for the Host and the Property.

Absolutely Stunning views of the lake with ample seating for myself and our group. Simply adorable decor and clean and spacious bedrooms. It was a little hot upstairs but we brought a fan and was comfortable. Literally everything we needed was available to us as well as some homemade goodies and a bottle of wine.
