「This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!」

「We absolutely loved our time at Meteora! The house indeed had a majestic view, with even an attached sun room/lounge near the entrance where we could sit and watch the sun rise over the rock formations. Nikolaus was also a wonderful and helpful host. He only spoke Greek and we only spoke English - but all was well with Google Translate. We would definitely recommend this to a group of friends or family!」

「This home is exactly as pictured. It is charming and check-in was a breeze. The location was great. Very close to the hiking/walking path to start out hiking trek to the monasteries. This home is well lit up, at night and easy to find. We hope to return someday and I'll definitely try to stay at The Rock and Stone home, again!」

「Very nice house. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Close to all Meteora monasteries. There several hikes that can be taken right from the house. 「Modern apartment with great location just a short walk from several tavernas, gelato shops and shopping. Clean and very comfortable. Two nice terraces. However, advertised as 2+ bathrooms, but had only one toilet so misleading there. Our rental car was sideswiped in the night and the owner was nice enough to let us store our luggage in the secure laundry room while we waited all day for a replacement car. Over all, really enjoyed the apartment.」
