Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay in Trinidad, California was absolutely unforgettable. The home sits on a cliff overlooking the Pacific, surrounded by the beauty and quiet of the redwoods, and somehow the view is even more breathtaking in person. The house was perfectly clean, warm, and inviting from the moment we arrived.We loved the home so much that we wanted to spend as much time there as possible. We cooked meals in the kitchen and grilled steaks outside while listening to the ocean waves below. The air outside smells incredibly fresh and clean, and the peacefulness of the area is hard to describe unless you experience it yourself.One of our favorite parts was walking from the main house to the game room after long days of hiking. It became our cozy retreat — warm fireplace, books, soft lighting, and such a relaxing atmosphere that we found ourselves falling asleep in there more than once.The beds and pillows were unbelievably comfortable and soft, and we slept better than we have in a long time. Every detail of this place made it feel special and restorative.We truly cannot wait to come back. This home is a rare find, and the beauty, comfort, and serenity made it one of our favorite stays ever. I thought about not posting a review because I don’t want anyone to find this gem ... but it’s too beautiful and perfect not to share."

Turtle Rocks Oceanfront Inn

"We really loved this place. The property is in the most amazing spot you can imagine, ya know, if you can imagine a sprawling view of the Pacific Ocean replete with rock formations and wildlife perfectly complemented by the lovely coastal landscape. The largest rock in perfect center view is home to an entire community of California Sea Lions! They play in the water and hoot and holler most hours of the day and it’s incredible! One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen and heard. Breakfast was super good and lots of snack options. I suppose it was great that the room was beautiful and fresh, but we would have been happy if it were a broom closet with how wonderfully the property delivered. We miss it already."

"This was a perfect spot - walking distance to literally everything in town. Great breakfast spot right across the street, around the corner from an amazing little wine tasting bar, good coffee shop up the road with gluten-free options. So quiet, so comfortable. And people in Trinidad are so friendly! I'll definitely be back."
