「....as advertised」

「We had 4 adults and two Labradors. The property is down a gravel path. There is a lovely flat area around the house that gave the dogs plenty of space to sniff and play. The house has great indoor and patio seating areas with a beautiful views of the lake. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking. We enjoyed the trains going by. The path to the lake is great, and definitely more effort to walk back up than walking down. We stayed for 6 days and only...

「Once again we had a great time staying at retreat #12 it fits our extended family perfectly.」

「This home was perfect for a multi family stay! The top floor has two bedrooms, a bath, kitchen, and laundry room. The bottom floor also has two bedrooms, with an additional kitchen area, another refrigerator and a bathroom as well. There is a large game room out back too! On an acre lot so there was plenty of parking. Not right on the lake, but very close!」

「Really enjoyed this stay just because of the view….yes it is that special! Waking up from the main bedroom you get to ser that view! Kitchen is modern, the baths a bit tired. Two proper bedrooms and a very large laundry room/ bedroom upstairs (kinda funky but worked). Downstairs large great room with bunks and a bath. Private road up to property with tons of parking. I already miss the view!」

「Very unique experience, more furnishings than we expected. There are incredible books, challenging puzzles and various games. Nice selection of music…both records and CDs. The location is near railroad tracks which might concern some guests, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall.」

「We have been coming to Shasta Lake as a family for years, and honestly no place does it the way Lori and Dave do with their retreats! Anytime we need something, they go above and beyond to answer back timely and help sort things out. My husband was disappointed the World Cup soccer games were not streaming on the TV, and we came home from a day on the lake to a Roku box waiting on our doorstep courtesy of Lori and Dave to hook up and get him back in the action. I cannot say enough good things...

「One of the cutest BnBs we've stayed in and we travel a lot! Close to Shasta without the inflated Shasta price. Walkable to brewery and a good pizza place. We hope to stay here again.」

「Easy to find, right off the highway and centrally located in Weaverville. Clean and cozy.」

「We very much enjoyed our short stay! The home was very cute and cozy and we highly recommend!」
