"Very clean and beautiful structure. The pictures on the site make you think you will have a river view and maybe even be able to walk out to the river. That is not real. It’s a short hike or a drive to the river. Not a huge deal but we were a bit surprised. The fireplace smokes up the entire home. We turned off the the heat and it still did it. Fireplace is beautiful and heated the room but smoke was everywhere!!! Other than that, I would stay there again!"

"This place is amazing. Very secluded and right on the river. Here are some protips - research river conditions beforehand. The Trinity was still experiencing peak run off conditions and was unswimmable and unfishable for the most part. Also, heed the hosts driving instructions that "strongly suggest" accessing the property from Willow Creek. Really, the host should change this to a requirement, not a suggestion. Even accessing from Willow Creek is a bit tricky and not for the faint of heart but...

"This place is a little piece of heaven. We had such a great relaxing stay and enjoyed swimming in the lap pool, fishing and gold paaning at the river. The river access was a short walk from the pool house to a beautiful sandy beach with deep swimming hole. The kitchen was well equipped and I enjoyed cooking on the unique stove. "I liked the quiet neighborhood. Parking was a little tight and had to back out of a fairly steep driveway onto the main road, but there was little traffic so not too bad. Beds were comfortable. My biggest concern was finding hairs and a small piece of a soap bar on the upstairs shower floor. The shower was obviously not cleaned properly, if at all. That was gross!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The outside area wasn’t cleaned prior to us arriving so there was a lot of debris all over the decks, tables ,chairs and in the pool. There are alot of trees so it’s a given that debri is expected. Over all we had a great vacation and it was so quiet and peaceful. Colleen was very responsive and helpful when I need to contact her."

"The property was amazing. It had great views and the house was very nice. There isn’t water access and the fire pit was filled in with dirt so we couldn’t use it. The pictures made it seem like we could access the river but was not the case. Other than that the property was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Everything was in good working order."

"The guests that we met on property were awesome including the people they checked us in and worked the property. The property and cabin needed work. Lots of holes throughout mosquito netting. Most light switches and outlets didn’t work. Fridge didn’t work. Shower had hot water that lasted 5 mins. Futon in living was so wrapped and worn that just sitting on it gave you back pain. "We enjoyed our time here, the location is great, the sounds of the river were very relaxing. The town nearby was great to get groceries and food. The only issue we had is that this cabin is under construction it seems, there was no usable closet space because of this. I would still recommend it though."

"I was looking for a basic, no-frills room at a great price and this place filled the bill perfectly. I especially liked the receptionist, (I forgot his name), who was very warm and friendly, got me set up in my room right away, and gave me a parking place with access to an electrical plug which I needed. He also went out of his way to find me a chair in the evening when he saw me sitting out front with a beverage taking in the view. What more could you ask for?"

"This place is a little piece of heaven. We had such a great relaxing stay and enjoyed swimming in the lap pool, fishing and gold paaning at the river. The river access was a short walk from the pool house to a beautiful sandy beach with deep swimming hole. The kitchen was well equipped and I enjoyed cooking on the unique stove. We utilized the green egg bbq as well. The wifi worked great and the beds and pillows were extremly comfortable. This was one of my top stays. The stonework on the houses was absolutely fantastic. Definitely pet friendly with our two dogs and cute little Ollie came by for his nightly treat. The only negative was the cobwebs throughout the house. Everything else was clean and suited our needs to a T! Thanks for a lovely stay. I would definitely return."
