Hotel Monika is delightful! The staff are welcoming and fun! Jaco makes the check-in process lighthearted with jokes and he’s very efficient! The rooms are comfortable and it’s right in the middle of everything! We enjoyed having drinks on the terrace and relaxing! It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re flying into Split as the airport is just a couple miles away. We will definitely stay here again!

​Located in beautiful, historic Trogir (just outside Split), Hotel Monika is an absolute treasure. The 15th-century building is stunning and beautifully modernized, the rooms are spacious and immaculate, and the staff's hospitality is unmatched. Absolutely loved the garden terrace breakfast. Our must-stay for our next trip to Croatia!

Great location for exploring old town, rooms a bit small and dated compared to others we stayed at whilst in Croatia but it’s an old style building so guess to be expected. Breakfast offering is limited with basic cold continental buffet style and no cooked options or choices of coffee etc

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff was gracious and super helpful. Breakfast was relaxing and so delicious. Hotel Monika is a lovely, historic, well preserved gem. We will return and definitely recommend to everyone.

We only stayed one night during a short trip to Trogir. However Hotel Monika was perfect for our needs. Nestled inside a UNECSO listed building it retains the period charms. It is situated perfectly in the old town with easy access to a multitude of restuarants and boutique shops. The hotel room was clean and modern, not overly fussy in any way. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning very effective and the staff super friendly and helpful. The 11am checkout was also welcome as 10am seems to be the standard in Croatia.

There is no elevator and nobody to help carry luggage down in the morning. We did have help when we checked in. Also need to know that cars are not allowed in the old town. So we had to carry our luggage over rough stone sidewalks to the hotel. Once there, the hotel is in a convenient location for everything in the old town.

If you can’t handle stairs this is not the hotel for you. The owner went out of his way to help us out. We felt very well looked after. Breakfast buffet was very good. Overall a great stay.

An absolute gem!!! Hotel staff was amazing from the porter helping getting bags to and from hotel, front desk, breakfast barista and for the breakfast spread that was amazing. Everyone was so helpful. The rooms and views were breathtaking and I would highly recommended for anyone traveling to Positano.
