“Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Cabanas Rio Escondido. The property is beautiful, and the pools were nice for relaxing in after a day exploring La Fortuna. Our family apartment had two balconies - one in front and one in back facing the river. Check-in and check out were easy, and we appreciated the recommendations for transportation and restaurants. ”

“We had a great stay with 4 guests. The property is about an easy 10-15 minute drive from La fortuna. We found the layout of the home to be very enjoyable. The host was very accommodating with some last minute scheduling changes we had due to issues with our flight. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area. ”

“Both times we stayed at this property Patrick was waiting to meet us when we arrived. He and his wife go well out of their way to assure you have a great vacation. The home is equipped with many books, games, and so many cool artifacts to check out! It’s secluded and quiet giving you that perfect feeling of being lost in nature. “What an incredible stay for my family and I in La Fortuna. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the AC's in the room were cold. The house host was very kind and available for anything we needed. The pool area was clean and we spent every night lounging around enjoying the sounds of nature. “A very charming cabin immersed in nature!
Our family had a magical stay—we were even greeted by monkeys one morning, which was such a fun and unexpected surprise as they watched us curiously. The cabin is cozy and beautifully nestled in the natural surroundings.
Access to the property involves a short walk with your luggage, but as a family of campers, it just felt like another adventure. Totally worth it for the peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views. We’d absolutely recommend it to nature……
