「It was full of character and a lovely place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Beware of one of the roads into the area, it can be very narrow. Always plan using the other two entrances/exits. Nice welcome gift too.」

「The photos don't do this place justice. It has absolutely everything you need, and more! It most definitely has a luxurious feel to it. I loved the bathroom. The cottage os much bigger than it looks in the photos, so much room! 」

「This is our 4th stay - so clearly it suits us. Friendly, comfortable and clean. Good food in pub. The mini bathroom, ( in room 2) however, needs a couple of simple improvements! The light over the mirror is still hanging loose - as per previous stays! The shower head is loose and you have to hold it with one hand to stop spray going directly downwards- which is nigh impossible! There needs to be a label on the power switch to the shower- currently it’s a search and a case of” I wonder if this...

「The room was spacious and well provided. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good offering a large choice of options. Dinner menu was also excellent and the food was fresh and well prepared.」

「Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟」

「The hotel occupies a grand position looking out across the bay. However 75% of the hotel is old and well past its sell by date. On arrival I was allocated a very tired room with grubby carpet and facilities accompanied by the smell of damp. I was moved to a very well equipped room in the refurbished wing. However this was in the oof and very hot. No aircon and couldn’t open the window as road was so busy with Saturday night revellers and traffic. The best thing was my allocated parking space...

「Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!」

「Just not very good, reasonable price but not really budget or bargain, Great location next to the train, Great Western beach and Pub, Just not a very good hotel. The single room is tiny with a tiny bed and looks more like a student doss house. No air con, fan doesn't work, no lift to the 3rd floor. Staff often not available at all, has a chintzy looking restaurant in the front but no idea what or if they serve, so many better places to eat, or stay for that matter. Tired.」
