What a perfect inn in Tropic! Yes, Bryce Canyon City is closer to the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, but it’s very touristy. Tropic is a delightful little town nearby with a population of around 500. The hotels and restaurants are charming.
This is the first time we stayed in our own log cabin! The interior of our room was paneled in ponderosa pine—no wonder with all the nearby ponderosa pine forests. Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. Parking was right outside of our cabin.
Since we wanted to get off to an early start at the park, we ordered a quick breakfast every morning at the hotel lobby. Coffee was great, too! We enjoyed dinner at Showdowns (a couple of blocks from the inn) with a country singer.
