St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in Cornwall, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, and ferries to help you explore the area. Little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards are available for rental (during the season). The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, with many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools. There are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony's Head (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan. with its famous round houses.

Crow's Nest is on the third floor of Wentworth House. Communal entrance hall and stairs to 3rd floor. There is a lift but, if you have difficulty with stairs, then please do not book as we cannot guarantee that it is always working. Third floor only: Enter into the hallway with doors to: Open plan living / kitchen and dining room with amazing south and west facing views across St Mawes Harbour to Place House and the Percuil River and further to St Mawes and Falmouth Bay and the Lizard peninsula in the distance. Beautifully decorated and furnished with comfortable seating, dining table and chairs, and a well-equipped, fully fitted kitchen. Master bedroom with superb sea views from the 4'6" double bed and storage. En-suite bathroom with shower over the 1/2 bath, WC and hand basin. Twin bedroom with storage.
