「Perfect Location, just minutes walk to the beach and nice play park for the kids. Close to plenty of places to eat. Beach is beautiful. Views from the house is stunning. The cooker, decking and downstairs ensuite shower need some tlc but that didn’t effect usage or us having a fantastic time. Will definitely be coming back!」

「We have been holidaying in Cornwall for over 30 years and have never stayed anywhere as perfect as this. The apartment is equipped and decorated to an incredibly high standard and the owners have thought of everything. The location is superb, a few steps away from a beautiful beach and the coastal path. Sue communicated regularly with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and she left luxurious gifts such as Prosecco, a home-cooked meal etc. I can’t recommend this holiday accommodation...

「We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in the country. A wonderful apartment for two, with everything we needed. Even everything for Cornish cream tea was ready. Sue explained everything in a friendly manner. Most people probably overlook the driveway to the property when they arrive. But with so few houses, it's still possible. We had a very relaxing time in Sue's cottage. Thank you very much.」

「Very clean. A welcome pack awaited us which included a bottle of wine - extremely thoughtful. Very quiet and lovely views and walks. We would suggest that a 4 wheel drive is used as the unmade track up to the property was a little rough on our fiat. However, don’t let that stop you booking - you won’t be disappointed」

「We had a lovely stay at this property in Porthtowan. We were a party of 8, 2 families, and the house was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack of goodies when we arrived. Brilliant communication throughout with the host. 5 min walk to the beach, great bar and restaurant also just a 5 min walk. Bit cold when we went but we braved the sea and so glad we did! Great time had by all.」

I had my 90 year old mother with me so the steps into the property were a bit of a challenge, particularly the step over the threshold. The stairs within the house were also steep, but she managed ok. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. 「We only stayed 3 days and wished we could have stayed longer! The VRBO is very neat and orderly. There was only 2 of us and we had p PLENTY of space. The living/dining area is very extensive. We got to meet the sheep and walk the grounds. Just beware of any stinging nettle- I accidentally brushed up on it. Would definitely recommend.」

「Loved the position, we enjoyed our meals on the balcony, listening to the surf, watching the board riders, generally enjoying the view. During the day we either walked the beach (be mindful of the tides, nearly caught one day!) or chose the well worn path over the hill, where, thanks to the locals we discovered the coffee stop en route to the next village! The coffee shop soon became our destination rather than our waypoint!! The local store was a gem, there appeared to be nothing they could not...
