This inviting property features two bedrooms—one with a king bed and another with a twin-over-full bunk bed—perfect for families or groups. Also an additional NEW queen sleep sofa in living room. With two bathrooms, including both a bathtub and a shower, guests will feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen comes stocked with dishware, cookware, coffee mugs and wine glasses for sipping. The dining table comfortably seats 4–6, making it ideal for shared meals. Open the double doors to the balcony and enjoy the outside even when indoors while dining. Wireless internet is available and unwind with TVs in the living room and bedrooms, where you can stream your favorite content. Enjoy the scenery while you relax on the balcony overlooking the lake and mountains beyond.

As a guest at Bear Lake Reserve, you’ll have access to the Lake Club, featuring a restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, fitness center and freshwater beach. The property also offers boat and kayak rentals, tennis and pickleball courts, and a stunning 9-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course. Several forest paths are maintained for your enjoyment.

AND.... in September, as the leaves begin to change, nearby Cashiers is full of events you may want to investigate!. Just a few are the 36th Annual Dahlia Show, Highlands-Cashiers Film Festival, Mountain Heritage Day (in Cullowhee at Western Carolina University), Cashiers Valley Leaf festival and Groovin' on the Green, a free outdoor concert series on Friday evenings!

PLEASE NOTE: Upon arrival, the Greeter’s Cottage will collect credit card information for the preservation resort fee of $30 per day, up to a maximum of $150. In addition, you will be asked to cover $50 per day for the Bear Lake Reserve rental program. You will also be given access to our exclusive Bear Lake Reserve app that you will use for admittance to the property and to keep you posted for many of the "happenings" on site while there!

Bear Lake Reserve is conveniently located between Cashiers and Sylva, North Carolina, approximately 2.5 hours from both Atlanta and Charlotte.
