Condo was clean, well furnished, and beautifully decorated. 2nd story stairs made checking in and out less fun, but the views of the city at night and sunrise was all so worth it. Beds were confortable, sheets and towels were so soft. We were to busy to visit the pool, but loved having the option. The wildlife made us so happy. We were out of the city yet so close to everything. We would for sure stay here again.
5 week vacation @ Moonrise at Starr Pass in March & April. Well located near many hiking trails, groceries nearby, and El Presidió area is about 12 minutes away. Pretty well everything else including 4th Ave is about 20 minutes away.Unit was clean and well stocked with cooking wares and staples and plenty of linens. The patio is the gem here with outstanding views of the changing colours of the mountain as the day evolves. It provided both sun and shade as of early morning and in the afternoon. The covered parking is well located directly across the steps and there is plenty of visitor parking available. The unit has so many beautiful art and decorative items throughout but perhaps a little less would make it easier to keep clean. Furniture throughout the unit could be more comfortable, including firmer mattresses. We would have preferred tiled floors over carpeting. The heating and cooling system worked great during our stay. Both washer and dryer and many cleaners were a definite plus. The water is highly chlorinated so we appreciated the use of the Brita. The heated pool and hot tub area which is about 200 steps away is kept clean and offered lots of seating. There is even a pickleball court but it has large cracks in the pavement. We did not make use of the gym which accessible in the center next to the pool. The rest of the center was locked except for the bathrooms at the back. The host, Karin was exceptionally efficient and effective in our dealings. A Welcome Binder
My wife and I love to hike so staying on the western side of Tucson is best for us. The hiking trails at Saguaro West and Tucson Mountain are unbeatable so anything near Starr Pass community will do nicely
This particular condo was spacious and quiet, since it was on the last row of buildings and was on the top floor
It had everything we needed—-comfy beds, two bathrooms, washer dryer(new!)
and a well stocked kitchen and pantry
A bonus is that it’s a short walk or drive to the Marriott Resort at Starr Pass, where you can go even if you aren’t a guest and indulge in some luxury, especially after a long day of hiking
I definitely plan on staying in this condo again
Clean, comfortable, and great location. Owners were very responsive and helpful!
Great pool and central to everything in Tucson. Highly recommend this property!
Beautifully furnished, super comfortable, great location!
We spent a week here and it met all our needs and expectations. Located close to downtown Tucson in one direction and the Desert Museum, Old Tucson, and Saguaro National Park West in the other. Lovely mountain view from the balcony. Heated pool and spa were most enjoyable even in January. The owner was very cordial and easy to work with. We would highly recommend this condominum.

Beautiful condo with best view of mountains
Karen was excellent to deal with both before and during stay for any questions or issues that came up. The condo has an amazing view of mountains from the patio, and we enjoyed watching sunsets, as well as javelinas walk by everywhere. The condo is very well stocked with everything you might need. Walks in the immediate area were awesome and day trips out of town were wonderful too. We used uber for trips in town and it worked very well. One way downtown about $12, to airport $22. We fell in love with Arizona at this condo.

Great Location, Well Provisioned
This lovely 2 bedroom condo has a charming and comfortable deck overlooking a Tuscon wash and sparkley city lights. In the morning the Javelinas tour the complex trash areas - they are darling to see from the 2nd story deck. The kitchen had all the pans, implements, and many spices - we were able to cook lovely Christmas dinner, serve it, and put a lot of the resulting dirty dishes in the dishwasher for easy clean up. Having generous towels and cloth napkins were extra nice touch. The condo amenties includes outside hot tub and pool where we swam Christmas day.
Great location, comfortable, well appointed space.

Wonderful Family Vacation
Tucson was amazing! Our family enjoyed a memorable family vacation staying at the Starr Pass Condo. The home was very charming, spacious, clean, stocked with everything we needed and ready for our arrival. It was very centrally located for all of our outings, the neighborhood was quiet, and the kids used the pool everyday! We really loved sitting on the veranda in the morning and evening watching the sun rise and set, seeing the wildlife in the wash and enjoying the magnificent view!
We hope to visit Tucson again, and we would love to stay here again! Karen was lovely to talk to. She is very welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and always responded quickly.

GREAT MONTH
We loved staying in this condo. The unit is as lovely as the pictures show. You feel like you are in a upscale hotel suite. Everything is well thought out, down to night lights in every room. The kitchen is well stocked, I wish my kitchen had some of the pots there. Since I am short and my husband has a bad back, the only negative we had is the bar height kitchen table.
Since we have stayed at Starr Pass in two different units, we have noted there is a problem getting hot water. It takes awhile for the water to get hot. In a state where water conservation is key this should be noted. It's not the unit but the complex.
The location is great since we love to go to The Desert Museum over Gates Pass. We got in the car, I closed my eyes and we were off (my husband driving of course). The unit is well situated to many of the things to do and see in Tucson. We love it and will be back.

Property was very clean but crammed.
This would be the perfect place to stay if it wasn't overcrowded with large things and cluttered with Nick nacks. The place was clean, in a beautiful location and the hostess was very prompt and nice!

Oasis from heat!
I enjoyed staying in the beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished condo. The kitchen was amply equipped and the air conditioner worked great which was appreciated in the unseasonably hot March weather. There is a great view of downtown and the mountains. I would stay here again on a subsequent visit.

Beautiful view
We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners have everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. The home is clean and the beds are comfortable. Only thing that I can suggest is to replace the jet roaring washing machine which we know they are doing this Spring.

Lovely, Interesting and Comfortable
What a lovely condo to stay in. VERY comfortable, great amenities (especially in the kitchen). Just like being at home. View and porch were great and a nice place to unwind after a long day. We would highly recommend to anyone, but keep your group small. Just loved the art that adorned the walls, tables, porch, and EVERYWHERE.

Wuthering Heights
The Starpass complex is ideally located, just on the outskirts of the more urban part of Tucson, yet close enough to come and go in minutes. Kären's condo is situated on the 2nd floor which makes for perfect views of the sunrise and surrounding scenery from the patio. We were lucky enough to see the resident family of javelinas roam about a couple of times during our stay, as well as many birds. The condo itself is very nice, warm and welcoming and provides plenty of space for two couples. The beds in both rooms were quite comfortable. There were no rough nights or bad sleep. Although quite small and with minimal counter space, the kitchen still allows you to express your inner chef as all the required paraphernelia is provided. However, the dining room proved to be a twofold challenge because of the reduced space, cramped in a corner, and the fact that only a pub style table with corresponding pub style chairs are provided. While it can be fun for cocktail hour or for an impromptu snack to sit 3 feet up in the air, having 2-3 sit down meals a day in this fashion may not be ideal for everyone (for example if you are travelling with young children or grandma). The glass table is square with very little space for any serving vessels when four people are dining. Those must thus be put on the counter nearby which can be cumbersome when wishing to access them, especially if you're the person sitting in the corner. Bedrooms only have blinds which, since the area is well lit, can become an issue if you like to sleep in the dark. Blackout curtains would be a welcome touch. I wouldn't say all this caused us to enjoy our stay any less, but future guests, be warned.
