Sehr schönes kleines Hotel. Personal und Inhaber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Alpen-Stil (sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet). Einzig das Bad war etwas klein, was uns aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Prima Frühstück und gutes Abendessen im Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hotel in Sedrun downtown

All rooms are none smoking but in the hotelbar smoking is allowed which makes the place smell constantly. Also every morning the rooms are filled with smoke from people smoking on the balcony. The rooms are very small, no fridge, table and phone. Bed covers are not Feder filled as it is common on other places. Internet partly works email and web only. Bathroom and rooms are very clean. Food is average. Overall for the cost you will find much better deals around town.

Wir haben ein Hotel in Sedrun gesucht das nah an die Ski-Pisten ist. Das Hotel Mira is etwas älter, aber Gepflegt, Sauber und Gemütlich. Das Familienzimmer was gross genug, nur das Badezimmer ist etwas klein. Wir hatten ein Zimmer an der Rückseite was etwas rühiger ist als vorne. Es ist ein Familienhotel und die Leute sind sehr freundlich und gemütlich. Parken kann man direkt vor dem Hotel. Es gibt einen grossen Ski-Abstellraum.

Great hotel in Sedrun

Great hotel with a very nice staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great view from the deck. About a 5 min walk from the train station in the heart of the town. Food at the restaurant was very good.

Great hotel!

We chose this location simply because we needed to break our journey. We were glad to have chosen the Hotel Mira; our room was fantastic – clean with a rustic appearance, with comfortable beds and a warm shower. Everything worked well, and we had a beautiful view from the window overlooking the main street. The breakfast, which was included with the price of our room, had an ample choice of just about everything we could imagine for breakfast – bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, coffee and tea, juice, milk, cereal, etc. The dinner – which was not included in our room price – was spectacular, and was one of the high points of our travels through Switzerland. We both had pork schnitzel with grilled potatoes, onions, and cabbage – simply excellent. The good Swiss beer and dessert added to the pleasure of this dining experience. We would be glad to stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Albergo grazioso nella sua classica architettura

Il paese di Sedrun, dove si trova l'albergo, e' quasi alla testata della valle dove le prime piogge cadono all'inizio del bacino dove nasce il Reno. A pochi chilometri dall'Oberalppass e' facile raggiungere Andermatt che è ben collegata con l'autostrada per Lucerna- Zurigo o per il passo del S. Gottardo. Dall'altra parte della valle si raggiungono gli abitati di Ilanz, Disentis, Chur. L'albero Mira offre camere confortevoli, calde, rivestite in legno. La vista dai balconi fioriti e' verso la valle, quella sul retro e' verso le pareti della montagna. La colazione variegata fra il dolce ed il salato viene servita al primo piano in un locale molto ben arredato e con grandi finestre. Ottimi i formaggi e affettati. Per la cena, servita nel ristorante al piano terra, c'è un menù con una offerta ricca di piatti e specialità locali.

Swiss tour

No one at hotel the day we arrived just a note with the room key saying reception was shut. We figured it was the quiet season being a ski town so that's ok. The accomodation itself was more than adequate with plenty of room and a nice hot shower. Hotel had lots of country charm and was close to restaurants and the local coop supermarket. However, We went down to have breakfast the following morning and then check out at 7:30am as we had a long drive ahead. My partner was handed 3 croissants so he went to find a table for the three of us to sit at. The hotel owner then picked up the 3 croissants from the table and put them in a bag for us and ushered us out the door. Clearly not happy we wanted to check out at 7:30am. It was a disappointing end to a lovely picturesque hotel.

Prima Hotel om een paar nachten te verblijven. Hotel en kamers ziet er netjes uit en de basis voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Hotel ligt aan een doorgangsweg. De prijs voor een overnachting is pittig.
