“Cute, clean place away from everything. After reviewing the list of items to bring, there was lots more in the house than we anticipated. Great fishing off dock for pan fish and perch but unfortunately, not so good on the lakes. ”

“This is a spacious well equipped clean and comfortable home for a family vacation. We travelled with kids and grandkids and we particularly liked the large king bedroom suite on the lower level - very peaceful spot for grandparents! The open area behind the house was great for the kids to play in. Its not on the water but the walk down throught the woods to the waters edge is pleasant.The small beach was great for swimming - sandy and a nice depth - and the designated pier for our boat worked……

“We had a great stay at this property! (4 adults and 2 children) The house was clean and cozy. Everything was in great shape and felt even bigger than the pictures. The walk down to the dock is magical, and we loved taking the canoe around the lake. We had deer in the yard every day, and the location is conveniently located close (but not too close) to everything.Would definitely stay here again!”

“This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. ”

“This was our 3rd time staying in the awesome house with our family. The house fit us perfectly! We all had our space/room and we just love it! The bedrooms aren’t particularly big but that didn’t matter because we were only in them to sleep. The beds are super comphy too! The fishing on Mercer Lake was fantastic. We enjoyed the deck area for morning coffee, reading , playing games or just relaxing. We miss the lake view! Doesn’t matter if you’re on the main floor or in the lower level you get a……

“We had other family, 10 total, staying at another property on Fence Lake, and we could not have picked a better place for me and my wife to stay than The Fence Lake Retreat. It was very cozy and had all of the amenities we needed. I’m sure the tv was nice, but we never even turned it on…too busy enjoying the lake and all of the surroundings. It was great to be able to be picked up at our dock by boat from the other family members who were also staying in the lake. I would advise that if you……
