Beware, the previous reviews are for a prior host. First the address was not correct, there is no cell phone service in the area. After over an hour of driving, calling, the host finally responded. Instead of trying to be helpful he was agravated. We booked the cabin, mostly due to rain our first plan was to bring our camper but due to inclement weather we decided to rent a cabin to meet with local family, friends and family from Texas camping locally to come by for dinner. The owner has cameras, he acused us of having a party. We are 50 to as old as 73. He seen 5 vehicles outside, and became belligerent, slurring and unintelligible texts saying you can stay one minute and you have one hour the next. He told us to leave immediately and Latimer County Sheriff'department was on the way, which was not true, as we the family that works dispatch. I said in the reason for staying in the initial booking was to visit family. He has cameras we believe hidden, as he indicated he knew someone was sleeping on the couch, which was our 7 year old granddaughter. We found a hidden camera on the back porch, VRBO only allows cameras in the front of the home. The next morning we took pictures of an immaculate house. A few days later, he again sounding unhinged and said we owed him 125 extra for firewood, it rained all weekend, and my husband even took pictures of the firewood rack. So while the cabin is nice, there is very little to see or do in the area, and prepare for host extortion later.
