「Lovely, relaxing stay at The Gables. A great property, all we'd hoped for and more. Right next to the beach, fully enclosed gardens so perfect for our dog, the interior is done to a very high standard and super comfortable! Everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend. Thank you 😊 」

「Lovely central location with beautiful views over the harbour to watch the tides come and go. The apartment is cozy and well equipped. Only issue was the need to provide towels which is difficult for travellers with limited luggage space. Im sure this could be easily fixed. Would definitely stay here again. So close to the railway station and a range of trips on a steam train which we enjoyed. 」

「We stayed here as a family of 19 for 2 nights over New Year ranging from age 5-70. It was good as we all had our own individual cottages with kitchens, living rooms and bathroom which gave us our own space but the communal area is the Hall was being enough when we wanted to be together. Only issue was the gas heaters and log burners not working properly in a couple of cottages but electric heaters were available and there is central heating in two of the cottages. 「What an amazing holiday. We spent a week here with extended family and absolutely loved it. There is more than enough space for everyone and all the rooms were spacious and clean. 「Lovely week in this house. We were 3 families. Made use of the 2 car park passes and were able to park the other car in the road alongside the car park. We spent most of our time in the kitchen/dining room which is a nice communal area. Showers were really powerful. Location is great for train station and walking down to the main area. Recommend the Indian restaurant and Dovey Inn.」

Comfortable beds, bathroom with a rain head shower, kitchen with EVERYTHING you need, large TV and comfortable reclining leather sofas and dining table upstairs. "The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
