「A last minute change of plan when our actually chosen hotel let us down. What a fabulous find. Our room was lovely and the staff were great. We will defiitely be back.」

It is showing its age however, but we still had a wonderful experience, with my husband celebrating his birthday at dinner where the staff made his night very special. 「Many years ago, before the infamous conflagration that destroyed part of the hotel, I stayed there. Also, every Sunday, my family and I would indulge in tea/coffee with fresh scones, cream and strawberry jam. The bar, then, was most charming. Thus I found my self back at this hostelry, and even the room seemed like the one I stayed in then. Not much has changed. 「The place is comfortable, linen clean, not a single noise only nature and birds, rooms clean and big and smelling fresh, room service perfect, very friendly staff and willing to help all the time, breakfast perfectly prepared, all in all it was good. 」
