"La struttura è piccola ma funzionale avendo una parte esterna molto grande e con una buona copertura per il sole e pioggia. Ottimo il barbecue. Dispone anche di una doccia esterna per quando si torna dal mare appena fuori dal cancello interno. Molto comodo avere i bidoni dell'immondizia dentro il cancello esterno. Cucina nuova. Unico dettaglio negativo la mancanza di un bidet. Gli agganci ci sono, speriamo che lo installino a breve."

Villa Gina - Torre San Giovanni with pool 5 minutes from the Maldives of Salento

10/10 Excellent

"Very happy with our stay at Villa Gina, the location was ideal to explore the beautiful beaches and towns nearby. A bit difficult to locate from the road first time round, as there are no signposts for it, but the host sends directions in advance which will navigate you there. The villa is very nice and clean, with a well equipped kitchen, modern rooms, fully working A/C throughout and a good Wifi connection. In particular, we really appreciated the outdoors, its well-maintained and green lawn area and the pool with its comfortable sun loungers. The house also has a terrace upstairs where you get to enjoy the seaview and sunsets. All in all, we will have no hesitation in recommending Villa Gina as it was really a welcoming "home from home" for us."

"Had a wonderful stay at Castello di Ugento. The property is truly unique — a beautifully restored historic castle that feels intimate rather than overwhelming. The room is elegant and comfortable, and the atmosphere in the castle is peaceful. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the warmth of the team. Service is thoughtful and personal without being overly formal. The culinary experience is also a highlight — you can really feel the focus on local ingredients and quality. If you’re looking for a quiet, character-filled stay with a strong sense of place, this is a very special option."
