「We had a fantastic long weekend on the Graythwaite estate. The property was immaculate and well equipped, with plenty of space for a large group and comfortable beds. If you like the Lakes and the activities it has to offer then this is a great place to stay. I would have given 5 stars but for the heating, which uses storage heaters and the property was cold in the evening, particularly on the first night. Also be wary of the fan/light over the hob which was very easy to bang your head on.」

It's a ground floor cottage fronting onto Morecambe bay and it is super peaceful, the views are amazing as the sea comes in and out, and the bird-watching opps are brilliant. 「This is a very quirky old house with lots of period features. Our group (4 adults, 4 children) enjoyed our stay and it was big enough for the older kids to find somewhere to chill but cosy enough for us all to eat together in the conservatory and play games in front of the wood burning stove. 「We visited with out 3 girls during half term. We really liked the layout of the apartment and it had everything we needed (although we forgot to take towels which weren't supplied - our bad!) 「I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children age 10 and 5 !!! At time of booking it sais 2 double beds and was only one double to then be allocated a room with 2 double beds and had to pay extra £15 for the 2 children this is a failt with expedia and not the property as at time of booking it stated 2 double beds !!! 」
