Incredible views and amazing house!

Three couples had a marvelous stay at the Stone Bluffs home. The house was immaculate and it was clear considerable effort went into making the house comfortable for guests. Its updates were recent and top notch. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the house and our favorite was our evening by the fire pit with the river below. We highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Jaw Drop View And MORE!!!

Always leary of a títle like “Jaw Drop Views” but in this case, it was that and more!! Truly spectacular views and accommodations!! We truly thought about not leaving and miss our nieces wedding, clearly she won! Will definitely come back with more family and friends! Amazing Stay in Every Way!

Where do I begin? This home has it all: stunning view (in which the pictures are fantastic but it’s even more amazing in person!), well laid out, plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space, perfect amenities, incredibly responsive host, well-stocked kitchen (including cast iron pans for awesome breakfast casseroles & more!). The view of Mount Hood is just incredible. I would stay here again in a heart beat if I was in the area (or make it a destination - it’s that awesome). The drive is far enough from Portland to be out of the city and enjoy Oregon yet close enough to get back to town for tour start-points & dinner (highly recommend Jake’s Grill!). The Columbia River Gorge area is beautiful. We came to the area bc our daughter got married in the historic Columbia Gorge Resort in Hood River. The deck area and gas fire pit was PERFECT for tired souls who didn’t want to go downstairs to the wood-burning fire pit. We still were able to have delightful fireside chats while enjoying our s’mores. There’s a lovely record player that we enjoyed as well - several classic records in stock. The coffee maker is a keurig style (not drip) - there are several varieties of pods in the drawer with a nice variety from tea, regular, decaf, and others that will tie you over until you get to the grocery store (Safeway is well-stocked). Windows are beautifully gridless. The overflow parking lot is a very easy 20-second walk from the front door. 10-star!

Can’t describe how absolutely perfect our weekend was at this location. We were there for our son’s wedding and the first time for many of us to be in the Columbia Gorge. The property and the home exceeded all expectations! We were lucky enough to stay 3 nights and we left so rested that it felt like we were there for 3 weeks.The surrounding wildlife, scenery and sounds cannot be captured by photos or words.Our group didn’t know what to expect; because we wanted it to be a surprise… and were they!The sleeping accommodations were perfect for our staff- with plenty of privacy for the moments when you want to have some alone time. And the house also has such an inviting and warm great room- perfect for those times when everyone wants to come together for food and games, etc.What a joy!And we want to give a special thanks to our host who was attentive and thoughtful.We hope to come back again!
