“La propreté .....beaucoup de bruit la nuit”

“Rooms nice and clean .. location is not great….no real breakfast but plenty of food…coffee machine did not work vey well…couldn’t get any coffee this morning….staff was not on location and had to wait to check in….smokers sitting at front door when checking out this morning…it was ok but not as expected at”

“Luckily the amnesties included a couple of fast food restaurants because the hotel did not have a restaurant or bar. It seems the person responsible quit 2 weeks ago. Other than this all was good.”

“The location is amazing and a great view of Lake Temiskaming. I got to swim at the beach in early June and the water was perfect, since it is seperate from Lake Temiskaming, otherwise would have been too cold. It was a highlight to be able to swim at the beach right by the hotel. The staff is really friendly and they make an enjoyable free breakfast for the guests.”

“Be sure to contact the Microtel in Kirkland Lake directly. Don't bother booking through Expedia. We booked 3 rooms. Non of them were refundable. We booked one of the rooms for 2 nights. We THOUGHT we were on the Wyndam site booking directly however bots and scammers pose as the actual site. We ended up booking through a scam site that charged us outrageous booking fees that weren't listed up front and the room was non refunable. Avoid the hassle. Pick up the phone, call the ACTUAL hotel,……

“The bath tub was extremely slippery and I fell on my shoulder and tore something. I now can't drive for a bit because I don't have a full range of motion and I am in a lot of pain. We mentioned this to 2 different staff members when there and we weren't impressed with their lack of response.”

“Let me start by saying that Alan, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was very clean. However, the cleaner used on the tile left a very strong smell that irritated my eyes if I stayed in the room too long. I ended up getting a candle to help cut the smell, which did improve things. The motel itself is quite dated. The beds were older but still comfortable, and the rooms only offer single and twin beds. I was glad to have both a fridge and microwave in the room. The……
