This is the best among five different hotels at various locations (above 4-star-rated hotels) during a 16-day trip around Peru. My husband and I stayed two nights at Lizzy Wasi. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. We had a chance to talk with an owner "Lizzy" who is such a delightful lady, just like other staff members. I am so glad my husband found this hotel, and we had a chance to rest in this peaceful and beautiful place. I am grateful to all staff members and Lizzy for their dedication to our guests. We LOVE this place! We stayed here last year for the first time and it was so amazing we came back this year. Get a MASSAGE while you are here! If you don’t you are doing yourself a disservice and missing one of the best massages ever! The restaurant is fabulous and lots of the fresh produce is grown right on the property. Highly recommend and we will be back again next time we are visiting Peru! ❤️

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped us book a taxi and packed us breakfast for our trip to Machu Picchu. Even help us get passes back we forgot at the hotel. The food at their restaurant was delicious. One thing I would suggest is putting screens on the balcony doors. Overall a great place.

Perfect!

Lizzy Wasi is a gem. After all the hustle of Cusco, we wanted to get away to a slower pace and more countryside. Urubamba and the sacred valley fit the bill. After reading reviews of Lizzy Wasi (Lizzy is Lisa and Wasi is house in the native Qechewan language) I booked and was so glad. It’s everything the other top reviews said it was. Excellent! It seems a little strange going there as it’s behind some older buildings an in kind of a dirt alley behind, but place is amazing. It’s small enough that you get to know the staff and they really do what they can to make your stay perfect. They arranged a couples massage, got our laundry done and back in our room during the day and even delivered a sack breakfast to us the night before leaving at 4 AM for Machu Picchu. You need to walk out to the Main Street and flag a tuk tuk down for a ride into Urubamba to enjoy that town for only 2 soles. Loved this place!
