「We take guy trips to fish Lake St. Claire and decided to take the wives up for a weekend getaway. It was our first time on the upper part of the lake and it's loaded with fish and things to do. The house and Christa (host) are great. You can't go wrong with a house right on the lake with a hot tub and a bar and grill (Island Grill) right around the corner on the water. If your looking for a getaway I highly recommend it!」

I am not picky at all but the fact that I booked for over 1 week and had to leave 3 hours into my stay was a horrible experience. Owner did not want to refund nor reimburse. 「Exceptionally gracious host with ultra fast communication. The house was quiet despite being on a busy road. Only challenge was the heating system - confirm with owner that it's been dealt with before renting in cold weather. The downstairs was very cold and the upstairs extremely hot. Perhaps it was just an adjustment we missed or one that they can make. We would happily consider staying in the property again. It's really nice having a wonderful host to work with!」
