Stunning French Alpine Chalet with spectacular views across the Abondance Valley

Maison du Bûcheron is a beautiful, spacious chalet located in the French Alps. Accomodating up to 10-12 people we have plenty of outdoor space for relaxing and great access to the area's winter sports resorts. For the rest of the year it is perfectly located for mountain walking, cycling (with secure storage) and Lake Geneva for water-based sports.
The house is a traditional barn-conversion with generous modern kitchen and dining facilities, 3 en-suite bedrooms and a large lounge for relaxing in.
We are easily connected from Geneva Airport - only 60km/37miles and close to the ski resorts of Chatel and Morzine, the spa town of Evians-les-Bains.
Enjoy a Barbeque on our deck or simple al-fresco dining. On-site catering by our host is also available for those that would like it! PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A MINIMUM STAY OF 7 NIGHTS OVER THE CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR & DURING THE PEAK FEBRUARY HOLIDAYS

Prima huis dat voldoet aan alle moderne eisen en veel ruimte biedt. Afstand naar de dichtsbijzijnde pistes 15 minuten naar Chatel 25min, Morzine 35 min, Avoriaz 40 min.

Merci pour ce beau séjour dans votre grand chalet idéalement situé. .bel environnement, proximité du charmant petit village d'Abondance, accès assez rapide aux villes d'Évian, Thonon, Morzine, Châtel et leurs centres aquatiques en particulier ! La merveilleuse plage de sable fin d'Excenevex à 37 minutes en voiture : baignade dans une eau bien chaude garantie ! ...nous avons eu du grand beau temps et nous sommes bien reposés. .l'accueil est irréprochable et nous avons été gâtés par de délicates attention ... Emma, you are a lovely woman and your sons too !!! Bref, une location absolument parfaite et recommandable. xxxxxxxx

Calme et confort

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans ce magnifique chalet rénové avec goût. Emma, la Propriétaire nous a chaleureusement accueillis et a été aux petits soins. Elle a su créer en ce lieu avec son époux une ambiance propice au calme et à là détente, une vue magnifique sur la Vallée d’Abondance, une pièce de vie spacieuse et agréable, des équipements de qualité, rien ne manque ... sauf les jours de vacances pour y rester plus longtemps :) . Nous étions 11 personnes et chacun avait son espace. Aux alentours, belles randonnées facilement accessibles, le Lac Léman a 30 mn, Abondance et Châtel a 15 mn. Une région magnifique et un lieu où nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

excellent séjour

Avant notre arrivée, nous avons pu joindre facilement Emma Malone, propriétaire du chalet, à plusieurs reprises. C'est important lorsque l'on souhaite des renseignements complémentaires. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien accueillis. Le lieu nous a immédiatement conquis et le chalet, de bonne taille est très chaleureux. Nous avons apprécié de disposer chacun de notre chambre et d'un espace salle de bain. (Nous étions deux couples et trois enfants). Même si la location se trouve au sein d'un lieu-dit, sans commerce, nous ne nous sommes pas sentis isolés. A proximité, ( 5 km ) se trouve le village d'Abondance, puis La Chapelle d'Abondance et...la Suisse toute proche. Les commerces sont tout près , Vinzier avec une grande surface attrayante et les petits commerces d'Abondance où nous avons trouvé les commerçants très accueillants. Le temps étant magnifique nous avons skié principalement sur la station de Bernex, à 10 mn de Vacheresse. Station familiale. Nous avons terminé notre séjour par une après-midi aux thermes de Lavey Les Bains en Suisse, très agréable. Donc un excellent séjour et merci encore à Emma Malone pour sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et son accueil . Claire et William
