Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. There were plenty of places to sit in the garden in sun or shade.Shutters on all the upstairs windows would help keep the space cooler by keeping the sun out during the day, and allow easier sleeping.The area has lots to offer - we only scratched the surface!A very quiet and tranquil spot set within rolling……

“The farmhouse is beautiful with stunning views. The owners were very accommodating and had thought about everything with some lovely personal touches. The children spent a lot of time in the pool. We had great weather which meant we didn’t make much use of the sitting room, which was also amazing. Worth every penny”
