「I travelled to the Tourotel expecting the worst given a lot of the reviews, and was pleasantly surprised and can only suggest those giving such poor reviews haven't stayed in ski accommodation before or hadn't looked at any of the photos. Yes it's basic (as are most ski accommodations), but they are well equipped (I've attached the inventory of the 2 bed apartment), and the mountain facing balcony rooms have the best view of any accommodation I've stayed in the alps. 「Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à Val Thorens.L’appartement était magnifique. Les chambres sont bien disposées. Nous étions 5 personnes. Petit supermarché Spar est à 100 mètres. Les pistes de ski à 150 mètres. Ou on peut y accéder facilement à partir du 3ème étages les skis au pied. La vie est magnifique sur les montagnes.On reviendra dès que possible.」

「Location couldn’t be more central, really easy to access everything, shops, slopes, bars, ski rental (all within 3 minute walk) apartment itself is exactly how it’s shown on photos, incredible view, only slight drawback, as a group of 8 it felt a small bit cramped so for a group of 10 would defiantly be a bit tight . But overall would 100 percent recommend and if I ever return to Val Thorens I will 100 percent try and stay here」

「There was not a lot of information regarding check-in etcetera, and there are limited front desk hours. The common areas are quite dismal. However the room was well stocked and clean. Twin beds. You can lock up skis near lobby. A two minute walk to the slopes. If you are desiring comfort and amenities, this is not your place. However if you come to ski with a friend and don't mind basic accommodations, this place is not bad. 」

「Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.L'appartement est bien situé, proche des commerces, sans les inconvénients du bruit pour ceux qui cherchent le calme. Il est très fonctionnel et refait à neuf avec goût. 「This was booked as a last minute ski get away for myself and 2 other adults. The apartment was easily accessible and clean with necessary amenities close by. Ski to door as stated in the write up. We did not have a car to park however there seemed to be alot of parking available. The apartment would sleep 5 people (3 single beds, one sofa double) but wouldn't recommend this really for more than 3 adults. Overall we had a great stay in VT and would happily use this apartment again. 」

"Very good 5 stars ski resort hotel with ski in ski out access. It has three restaurants. The staff in reception, restaurants and ski room are very friendly, particularly James, Nathan and Laurence in ski room and are really helpful. The room is spacious enough for two people. The breakfast is good and beside the buffet, I have eggs choic and coffee. It is a great start before heading to the slope."
