There are both good and bad parts. The good, the property is beautiful, it is built right onto the hills and faces the beach directly and the views are amazing. The beach is perfect too.The rooms are extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We needed nothing. Our balcony had a sunken hot tub and very comfortable couch and lounge chairs. There is no cable TV but a smart TV is there but be aware that USA programs like Hulu and YouTubeTV are blocked.
The negative. This resort is not for the faint of heart. We were on the upper levels and there is no elevator. We had to climb 174 steps to reach our unit. It really was unbearable and honestly the stairs are extremely unsafe, no railings, very steep pitch and not uniform in height. The alternatives were to walk the road, but it too was so steep you felt unsafe, and my traveling partner slipped and took a nasty fall. They do offer a shuttle, but it is very inconvenient, and you may have to wait 10-15 minutes for it. This place is very isolated, so the beach was uncrowded and in 2-weeks we never saw more than 10 people on the beach, which was nice. The beach is safe and the water was divine. We wish we could say good things about the restaurant but it is not possible. Incredibly overpriced, our bagel with salmon, small fruit bowl, one coffee and one beer was $65. The portions are very small too. Every guest we talked to basically ate one meal only and went elsewhere after. The location is beautiful.
