「Lovely rental, gracious host, TONS of space, cozy, everything is within 15 minutes. The only things I would say to the contrary is... there's a window in the kitchen I wish had a blind or a curtain (for privacy), and the water take a while to get warm. If I am ever to go back to Roanoke Rapids (or surrounding areas) if available I would DEFINITELY stay here again.」

「Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. It was also awesome to have a table out there to eat and have space for activities. I also was able to see a blue heron catch a fish while sitting on the porch. The inside dining room...

「Loved the convenience of the location. Walked to the Blue Jay Bistro for dinner and Timber Waters after dinner. This was a business trip and perfect place to stay if you are a business traveler.」

「Kayaks included in the rental made getting on the lake super easy. It was a beautiful, peaceful trip in a secluded neighborhood. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, etc. 」

「The home is roomy and has everything in it that you would need from kitchen supplies to linens and towels. The outside area could use a little TLC but nothing that impacted our stay. Also a small one page note with directions for the TV, second oven and check out process would be helpful.」

「What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!」

「Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. 」
