「Be aware that although the hotel is walking distance to the bus terminal, it is on a hill, so you need to be reasonably fit if walking up and down. The hotel is close to the harbour and castle. The island bus service is very good for getting around the island and sight seeing. Staff are very helpful and friendly.」

「Hotel had great view and breakfast / lunch on the terrace looking down the valley to sea was very nice. Food in all three restaurants was good, although the steak place you cook your own so menu limited and cooking quality down to you. The pool was not available during our stay which was disappointing as it was late May, so not exactly out of season. I found it be peaceful, I was at the rear of the property, and particularly liked the second door into the room, which I'm shielded me from any hallway activity.
