You can drive or cycle (great cycle path in front of the house ) to different beaches such as Le Gurp, l'Amelie, Soulac and also cycle inland towards the river, la Gironde.
One hour drive from Bordeaux recently given world heritage status by UNESCO. You can drop your car at a tram station and take the tram into Bordeaux as it is much more relaxing and much cheaper than trying to park into Bordeaux's very expensive parkings.

The house was spacious and very comfortable, the location was as close to the beach as you can get and just a few minutes' walk to the village center. The hosts were gracious and attentive. All in all, a wonderful stay and we hope to return next summer.

Schönes Haus, fast direkt am Strand
Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer über WhatsApp war schon im Vorfeld hervorragend. Kurze Reaktionszeiten. Es entwickelte sich ein sehr netter Kontakt. Auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen.

Sehr schönes Haus fast direkt am Strand!
Das Haus ist in der Tat architektonisch interessant, mit Geschmack eingerichtet und es war alles vorhanden, was wir für eine herrliche Urlaubswoche brauchten! Gegenüber über den Pfad durch die Dünen kommt man direkt an den Strand.
Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

Nous espérons revenir!
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour , la maison est dans une rue calme, à la saison où nous y étions .L accueil est très sympathique et très souple pour les horaires, merci à la maman de Karine .Il est très facile de communiquer avec Karine et elle été de très bon conseil pour le séjour.La maison est très propre et très bien équipée, avec le sens du détail il ne manque rien ,la pièce de vie que l’on peut ouvrir entièrement grâce aux baies coulissantes et qui donne sur 2 terrasses ,à l'avant et à l’arrière , nous met tout de suite en mode « vacances » . On peut aller à la plage à pied , et aussi au marché, mais à vélo c’est mieux .et c’est vrai que les huîtres et le vin blanc sur le marché à l’apéro est un super moment dans une bonne ambiance. Nous avons bcp aime Montalivet et cette maison .. c’était de bonnes vacances ! Merci !

Ferienhaus mit Charme in Strandnähe
Das Haus liegt fußläufig zum Strand und zum Ortskern/Markt.
Obwohl wir nicht ganz so gutes Wetter hatten, haben wir zwei wunderschöne Urlaubswochen verbracht.
Die Vermieter sind sehr,sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Traumhaus!
Viel Platz, eine wunderschöne Küche, alles funktioniert, zwei tolle Terassen und ein wirklich originelles Zimmer im Turm! Dazu ein großes Grunstück und eine Top Lage in Bezug auf den Strand und den Markt im Dorf! Besser geht es nicht. Wir kommen wieder!

leuk vakantiehuis en heerlijk dicht bij zee
Hartelijke ontvangst en 'overdracht'. Prima onderhouden en schoon huisje. Leuk en rustig met voldoende ruimte voor een heerlijke vakantie. Wij, grote/lange mensen vonden de bedden (3 x 2persoons) wat klein, maar ze waren wel comfortabel. Hebben er een fijne tijd gehad.
Wij zouden de struiken tussen de buren en het huisje meer optrekken voor nog meer privacy.

Beautiful house in fantastic surroundings
We stayed in the house of Karine and her family in the first weeks of July 2017. We received the warmest welcome from Karine. The house is beautiful and well equipped with a high level of comfort. The surroundings, the beaches, the large daily market in Montalivet are amazing (all very nearby in walking distance). Highly recommended.
