Little place was great and clean upon checking in. Next morning there was a strange smell of urine. Took showers went for a cappuccino and then took off for a day of sightseeing. Upon coming back the smell of urine was everywhere. Was strongest behind the bidet. Tried cleaning it ourselves but only seemed to make it worse. Spent about thirty minutes cleaning and then went back out to let it air out. Came back an hour later and it was worse so we went and booked a nearby hotel and checked out. Upon checkout the hotel Charged us a cleaning fee even though we were checking out two days early due to the smelly condition of the unit. No attempt to apologize or refund. Would not recommend this place.

a good Venice location to stay

This apartment is in a central location with easy access to multiple points of interest like the Rilato bridge. There is a church right in the piazza which a few steps away from the apartment and there is a museum as well. During our stay there was some construction going on the top floor with loud banging resulting in lots of rubble and debris falling onto our items left in the room. This was promptly cleaned, kudos to Elena at Hotel Scandinavia where visitors check in for this apartment. Very friendly staff at the hotel and excellent breakfast.

Great stay in Venice

Easy in and out with friendly and efficient service from Hotel Scandinavia, 1 minute away. Great location down a very quiet alley, 1 minute from Campo Santo Maria Formosa, less than 10 minutes feom Rialto and St. Mark's Square. All meals were away from tourist zone, 1-5 minute away from the apartment--Gondola ride right from the Campo as well. Apartment was clean and new; very convenient for us with young son to eat a few meals in and to take breaks midday just a few minutes from the sights. The two beds were big, easily room enough for 3. Bakery , coffee stand, wine bar, and daily fruit market were also 1 minute away. We would definitely stay here again.

Great experience

Shortly after booking we received a communication from the property telling us to check in at the Hotel Scandinavia and that we may store our bags should our room not be clean by the time we arrive. Fortunately, that was not needed, and we were able to get into our room early. Check in was fast, service was friendly, and they walked us to our apartment. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and located near many restaurants and other attractions. Only a ten to fifteen minute walk from the Rialto vaporetto station and about the same to St Mark’s Square. It was a bit expensive, but I think we’d be happy to stay at this property again in the future.

Nice apart hotel, clean, well equipped and at less than 10min from Saint Marco square. The only drawback is that is a ground floor between narrow streets (as expected in Venice); therefore the courtains need to be close if you want privacy, limiting natural light. That said, I recommend this place.
