We are grateful to have found this place. Having the beach right at your feet is such a bonus. The house is very comfortable and the deck area is awesome. Loved the fire pit.

Beautiful beach front home!

This house is a perfect beach front home. Beautifully decorated in beach eclectic—the kitchen has everything you can think of our need and the beds were super comfy! My only complain is the freeway situation (which likely helps keep down the crowds!)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My three kids and I spent five days at this perfect home. It sits on a semi-private beach. Right next door is an amazing surf spot that Pros frequent in a regular basis. Perfect house, well equipped. Views from every room. Amazing upper deck that gives a view for miles. Great spot. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was as beautiful as advertised and the location can’t be beat. The beach was wonderful and not at all crowded. Unfortunately neither the AC nor the fire pit were working and though Turnkey was responsive, no one was fully able to fix either issue during our brief stay, so hopefully these get sorted soon. We still very much enjoyed our stay and may be back again next year!

great stay!

We had a short family long weekend at this rental. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Lovely sand beach which was fun and especially enjoyed the less crowded, almost private beach. The house was well stocked with linens, towels, everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed the grill and fire pit for our evenings. The place was clean and the communications through the rental company was prompt and thorough. The only one downside was the living area is upstairs. As a result, we didn't use it and would have enjoyed the extra space downstairs near the kitchen and outside patio. Would consider renting here again as we enjoyed the location, private beach and facilities.

Incredible Views!

The expansive ocean and California coastline views were incredible! There are no neighbors to the south so full unobstructed views this way and also great views to the north. There are private steps literally from the backyard to the sand. The beach and neighborhood is quiet and every bedroom has an ocean view. The decks are perfect for taking it all in. The fireplaces made it cozy inside when it got chilly outside. Very spacious and upgraded kitchen. Having only two bathrooms with the downstairs one lacking counter space made it a little tight getting ready but absolutely did not take away from the overall impressive experience we had here. I would definitely recommend it!

Mussel Shoals Family vacation

This was a wonderful family vacation in the perfect location. The home was clean, very nicely furnished and personal. It was very well stocked with everything needed. Very few maintenance problems which we only reported at the end and these were accepted graciously. No other issues. We loved it and hope to return.

The home is pretty worn from all of the repeated guests. Could use a new coat of paint. It’s also pretty dated with very old and rickety refrigerator and appliances. Worst of all one of the rooms smelled like strong cigarette smoke and that was the only room my 2 year old could sleep in, which was regrettable. For the thousands of dollars we spent the house didn’t feel particularly high quality or sparkling clean which was a bummer. On a positive note it had plenty of rooms for our guests, the kids loved the bunk beds and we enjoyed being so close to the beach.l and being able to grill on the patio while the kids played in the ocean. Our time spent outside was amazing. Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay in this home again as it seemed like there were better quality homes for rent in the same street

Perfect location!

It is a hidden gem, had no idea of this strip of beach before. Very few people, great swimming beach and saw so many seals, dolphins and pilot whales. The house is perfect, it felt very private and had great views. It was perfectly appointed and we had anything we could possibly need. Beds were super comfortable, nice fluffy towels. Oh and we loved the fire pit at night. Can't wait to come back!

Gorgeous Beachfront Home!

Steps to the sand and big coastal views in every direction! Watch dolphins and seals swim by every day and feel like you are on your own private beach. We will definitely come back!
