「We had a very good stay. The hotel is somewhat dated and shows some wear, but it was clean and comfortable. The pet-friendly first-floor room was excellent, with direct outdoor access so we could take our dog out without having to walk through the lobby. Another feature we really appreciated was that the room had hard-surface flooring instead of carpet. When traveling with pets, we much prefer this to carpet from both a cleanliness and comfort perspective. Also, there was not an over, emphasis...

「We stayed one night at the Sandman in Vernon. We had booked a queen room with kitchenette, but upon arrival were told that there is no elevator to access the second floor. This was a bit of an issue for us as it was not stated in the description online. We are travelling for 6 weeks, and have a lot of stuff with us so lugging it all up to the second floor would have been daunting. The registration person on duty was very helpful and changed our room to a king on the first floor. There were still...

「If you need to stay near Vernon or Coldstream, stay here, no question. Yvonne is an amazing host and will cook you an amazing breakfast. She is very welcoming and helpful. Great wooden lodge, location, shower bed and internet and very quiet. If you need anything to eat in the evening use a food delivery app, Yvonne will help you sort it out, otherwise you can drive into Vernon, too far to walk. We would recommend Maaza Indian Kitchen in Vernon, huge portions of excellent curry.」

「Room 113 was absolutely filthy, and I'm positive the bed had just been made but bedding not changed. There were hairs all over it and black specks under the top sheet on the fitted ones that weren't even on either bed properly. My mother's bedspread had some red and brown drips on it which were not stains and mine had a cigarette burn hole in it. Nothing smelled cleaned at all. The carpet was heavily stained and dirty. The bathtub had black dirt/mildew all around the caulking, especially in the...
