I realized the night before checking out that 1 of 2 door tags was intended to notifying housekeeping staff to replenish the room. I stayed for 3 nights without my room bein replenished with only 1 wash cloth, and no coffee left on day 3. The road behind the hotel appeared to be an alley, however it had a lot of foot traffic and vehicles including trains passing by, right behind the hotel. I entered the Sandman Suites side when I arrived, and learned that they were residential apartments. I dialed the Manager who said the hotel is beside the restaurant. "Denny's". When I arrived at the Hotel entrance, which appeared hidden from the street, The desk attendant directed me to exit the lobby into the parking lot, and walk around the building to another door. I saw 2 doors a distance apart and picked one. When I got there, I had to navigate a few stairs to the left and a narrow ramp on the right with my luggage. Guests need to insert their access card in a box the left side of the doors, then move back to the doors to manually open it with swipe card in one hand, and luggage in tow. Once inside the external door slams shut behind you disturbing guests immediately adjacent to and across from the doors. The rooms and bathrooms are are very compact, with uncomfortable furniture. Quality linens and kitchenette very well equipped. Did not use pool or gym. Business trip.
