Fantastic stay! Wonderful attentive staff who upgraded us because there were in inconsiderate guests next to us. We were really appreciative. The breakfast was excellent and excellent service. The ladies Fuglia, Gloria, Irina made the stay special.

Wonderful, clean, quiet and very friendly

We stayed 5 days and didn't regret it. Location is really good, walk distance to city center but away from the city noise. You get privacy, excellent breakfast, garden, nice pool, parking and on top if all a very friendly staff that makes you feel very very welcome. Always again !!

The property is beautiful and well appointed. Lovely pools, spa tub, sauna, and gardens. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were spectacular. But what really makes the experience great is the staff. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and pampered. It's a small property (I think I heard 9 or so rooms) so they make sure each guest is taken care of. Welcome drinks, pool drinks, thoughtful snacks, complimentary taxis, all provided by the charming friendly staff. And just a short taxi ride to all the activities downtown. Will definitely be back!

Gorgeous boutique style hotel

Stunning. An amazing hotel / villa, set in beautiful surroundings. Massive thanks to all the team at Villa dei Gelsi; everyone was so helpful and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and on several occasions they went above and beyond what would be expected. Our room was very nice and was cleaned and turned over daily. Breakfast time was a treat too; the wonderful chef cooked in an open kitchen and prepared whatever you desired each day (the menu was just a guide ... just ask and you will receive). In addition there was a beautifully set out and substantial continental style breakfast table too. The location although stunning, was a 25 minute walk into Verona. This was fine for our stay, but in reality, it was necessary to take a taxi into Verona on several days; however, this was all arranged by the team at Villa dei Gelsi using their account with the local taxi company. Highly recommended hotel / villa.

I truly cannot express how beautiful our stay was. From beginning to end, we were completely taken care of and it was such an incredible experience to add to our anniversary weekend. It’s quite rare to receive the type of service that we did and we truly are thankful for it. The property is gorgeous - just sublime. Very intentional and it feels like a dream when you are walking through. The property is located in a very quiet and peaceful area. The spa area is beautiful and we were able to utilise the services even after it had been closed. Our room was beautiful and very clean. Bed is super super comfy and we were really able to just relax and let go. I’d highly recommend the breakfast. Your food is basically made in front of you which adds a very personal touch. And it was very tasty! The staff were very knowledgeable of the city and were always more than willing to assist with any queries - at times going beyond with their help. Uber/Bolt doesn’t work in Italy and they assist with booking your taxis. Just a heads up to book in advance of when you need to go as taxi’s aren’t always readily available. We’re already planning our next trip to stay here. All in all, run and book. Cannot sing their praises enough!

Super stay, super Director!

Hotel stay was great, we booked last minute and the Director was very informative and helpful with our parking and recommendations for the stay. We particularly liked the accommodating breakfast they served via the open kitchen and also the boutique feel the hotel and pool gave off. The free taxi to the hotel was also a really winner for us which took us right into the centre of Verona and back later on. Great restaurant recommendations from the Director herself! Superb!

Stunning

We stayed here as part of a month long trip exploring France, Italy and Switzerland and this was one of our favourite stops. We had our two French bulldogs with us. The gardens are stunning the pool is to die for (as is the spa however the weather was too hot to make the most of). Lovely room and done so tastefully. We will be back for sure.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The setting is idyllic and very tranquil. The staff were super friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure we felt very welcomed and relaxed. They were also great with our 7 year old daughter. Having the taxi in and out of the city was a real bonus to this property as it enabled us to relax by the pool in the heat but still have all the access to the beautiful city of Verona in 10 minutes. Family stay in beautiful Villa

My husband and our 6 year old travelled around Italy in July and came across this beautiful renovated villa in Verona and so glad we did! Absolutely beautiful renovated old buildings now stunning accommodations dotted around the grounds, the main building has indoor spa and there is a gorgeous outside pool and loungers. The staff are so kind and thoughtful, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. There is no restaurant so we took the complimentary return taxi service into Verona (5 mins away) which was much appreciated, as was the complimentary glass of wine while we waited for taxi. Our little boy loved the diving board and the pool as well as the spa whirlpool. You feel like you are the only guests here as it is such a secluded and private place. Will return!

Such a cute property, with amazing views and interior. Feels like home The staff is amazing, I was given very early check in. Unfortunately there was an issue with my Air con which they tried to fix but couldn’t. They offered free breakfast and drink. The hotel also covers two taxi charges to city centre throughout your stay which is a nice perk. Honestly not sure about the walk to city centre as the hotel is on a very steep hill with no sidewalks

A little oasis in the City

Nice little hotel outside of the city with Very friendly staff! We stayed 3 nights in Verona and enjoyed our stay here. They have a gorgeous garden with a few nice sitting areas. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. they had a buffet and they freshly made what you wished for. Eggs, toast, avocado slices, Parmaham etc. The spa was small, but it had everything. The water in the bubble pool was a bit cold. The staff was very friendly and could answer all our questions. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to make a city trip away from the hustle. It really is a oasis!

My partner and I were blown away with the hotel and it’s facilities. Walking through the gates, we entered this luxurious and beautiful Italian villa. Then walking up the steps and into the gardens we then saw the beautiful Verona city scape; a view we woke up to every morning. It was complete bliss. Nothing was an issue and we had so much help and kindness from the staff. To organising taxis, putting together drinks and food, and sorting some laundry for us, our expectations were exceeded. Special mention to the young male who worked night shifts, he was fabulous and prepared the most incredible bruschetta and cheeses we have ever tasted. The weather was disappointing but with the spa access and taxis we had plenty to do and travel to avail. The location for us was not an issue; it was a little oasis in the Veronese hills. The nearby restaurants are also walkable which we made use of. We will definitely be back for another couples escape and spa trip! Thanks so much for a wonderful time.
