#Details These small caves were carved into the high basalt tufa cliffs on the eastern side of the Óvár hill. Russian monks are reputed to have lived here brought here from the Great Principality of Kiev by the wife of the Hungarian king I. Endre around the year 1050. Only three groups of cells are visible today, the rest were buried in 1952 by a rockfall. The caves are accessible via a marked trail.
