Casa Betty Dream
Elena and her family could not have gone to more efforts to make our stay as enjoyable and memorable as it was. Before we even set foot in Italy Elena had communicated the best way to arrive from the airport as well as including bus and train times. Elena and her family met us as the train station and kindly drove us to the apartment. The information provided at the apartment about the town was very informative. It included bus timetables, the best local restaurants and the nicest restaurants in the town as well as a sheet with tips on how to have the best experience. Elena and her son were available at any time to answer our questions by WhatsApp which was extremely helpful! When we arrived the family provided us with water and some fresh tomatoes which was lovely and then they showed us to the restaurant for dinner which was very kind. Elena helped us in trying to book the beaches (which must be booked in advance as they get very busy). Although Elena suggested we would need a car we got around easily as we were unable to rent a car but also young and able to walk into town! The apartment is located on the mountain. We would walk down the steep hill and steps in the morning which took around 25-30 minutes and in the evening we got the bus easily from the town centre. The apartment itself is a gorgeous and very clean, spacious place with 2 bedrooms in an annex style - one double bed on the ground floor and 2 single beds above so can accommodate 4 people comfortably. There is a beautiful terrace which overlooks the mountain. We sat on it every evening enjoying the tranquility of Vico Equense. Although we did not eat in regularly there were good kitchen facilities and amenities. Towels were provided. There were also fans which we used to cool us down in the evenings. We could not of had a more enjoyable experience in Vico Equense if we had tried. We hope to return some time in the future! We would highly recommend Casa Betty.
