​​​​​​​Situated in the heart of Downtown Victoria, the Artistic Heritage Suite is ideal for guests seeking a historical space immersed in colour and New York-style art. A part of the Monaco Condo, one of Victoria's oldest heritage buildings and initially constructed in 1888, developers sought to create a fusion between the city's industrial past and forward-thinking present, an effect they achieved by coupling modern updates such as stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and clever design that showcases natural architectural charms, such as the 12' high ceilings and incredible exposed brick.

A stylish two-bedroom + two-bathroom, our Artistic Heritage Suite has an open-concept layout that provides guests with a vibrant, art-forward aesthetic designed to blend functionality with style and comfort. Our suite features a queen bed in the master bedroom, as well as a high-quality and comfortable convertible sofa bed in the second bedroom, each topped with soft, high-end bedding. The master bedroom has a lovely ensuite washroom and walk-in closet. In addition, our space boasts a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, a dining area to seat six, high-speed internet access, and a smart TV for guest convenience. Moreover, the dedicated workspace makes this the ideal choice for those working remotely or visiting on business.

Policies and Booking Requirements
Age Requirement: Our policy requires the guest making the reservation to be at least 21 years old in order to book.

Cancellation: By confirming this booking, guests agree to our cancellation policy. If you are concerned you may need to cancel outside of the policy, we suggest guests acquire travel insurance to assist in mitigating any losses.

Check-in: We provide self-check-in with a standard check-in window of 4:00 - 7:00 pm. We ask that guests arriving past the standard window carefully read their check-in instructions and reach out with any questions prior to their arrival, as our support team is only available until 7:00 pm. Moreover, we kindly ask that guests arriving in the evening are mindful to keep noise to a minimum.

Occupancy: Our policy permits only the number of guests booked initially to occupy the suite. Pets Welcome. Children Welcome.

No Smoking: Strictly enforced. No Smoking on balconies or in the suite. (Note: The Strata strictly enforces these bylaws, and failure to comply will result in a $500.00 fine).

Party Restrictions: Our policy requires all guests to comply with city bylaws and refrain from hosting parties. (Note: The city strictly enforces these bylaws, and failure to comply will result in a $500.00 fine)

Pet Policy: Our policy allows one small dog (under 20 Ibs) to stay in the suite upon our approval. Do not book before receiving approval for a pet. No cats allowed. A $75 pet fee will be added once we confirm your reservation.

Cleaning Service: Guests rest easy in with the knowledge Clean Slate Victoria professionally services this space. This professional cleaning service provides outstanding care and attention to detail with enhanced cleaning protocols granting guests extra peace of mind.

Parking Information: For convenient, nearby parking options, guests can choose from the Bastion Square Parkade (575 Yates St) or Centennial Parkade (645 Fisgard St). Both parkades also offer free parking from 8 pm to 8 am. We recommend downloading and using the Park Victoria App to simplify the payment process and avoid the hassle of using a meter. Additionally, for easy unloading, there is a designated hotel zone located outside 528 Pandora.

Not impressed with cleaning or communication
The suite was not cleaned well before arrival. The floor was filthy, there was a lot of dog hair on the furniture, there was hair in the bathtub. When property management was notified, they did get cleaning staff in quickly, but there was no apology at all. The cleaning staff's comment was to the effect that it is a pet-friendly suite so we should expect hair.

Perfect location!
We had a great stay here. The location was absolutely perfect - walking distance to restaurants, shops, the harbour, bars, tourist attractions... Beautifully appointed apartment - it had everything we needed. It was pretty noisy at night, but nothing some earplugs couldn't fix. The bed in the spare room is a pullout couch, which wasn't the comfiest, but otherwise no issues with the space. Highly recommend!

NOT A TWO BEDROOM
This is only a one bedroom apartment. The other, so called bedroom, is cliset size with a pull out couch bed. The bed has a thin foam rubber mattress. There was a metal bar hitting my lower back and hips. Another bar ran across my shoulder blades. I was bruised and hurt. After pulling out the bed there was about a foot around the bed to walk. I got about three hours of sleep each night. Im not happy. CoHosts and Vrbo had false advertising and are liars. Do not rent from them. They will deceive you. I will never return here. And i want half my money back since this was only a one bedroom apartment.

This property is as gorgeous as it looks online but with one major problem - it really only has one bed! The 2nd bedroom pullout couch is about the worst pullout I've ever slept on. It wouldn't fold out flat and the mattress was so thin you could feel the bedframe beneath it. I ended up having to pull the mattress off and sleep on the floor. We did reach out to the owner via email to comment on this and did not even get a reply back. I should add we were 2 women on our own traveling and were later told that the area is considered the "red light" district of Victoria. I didn't think Victoria even had a red light but the noise at night coming from the homeless camp out just 2 blocks away was really bad. We could not sleep with our windows open. Bring earplugs for sleeping and be careful if out walking in this area after dark.
