Our room was very big and comfortable. Three big windows face the morning sun. Decorations were antique road show eclectic, but homey. The property could have been cleaner, but the grounds make upkeep a challenge. Wendy's breakfasts are wonderfully fresh and made with care. Additionally, Wendy is friendly, helpful and well informed on what is available locally.

Impossible to fine a better view of the water from across the street, more quaint, bed and breakfast, and the handcrafted breakfast is very high fresh tasty and warm.

Situated between a busy highway and a road that is occasionally busy, so noise is an issue. Like many BnBs it is full of ornate decor but the basics are fine. Breakfasts of coffee,tea, juice, omelet and bagel with fruit was fine. We were upgraded for free to the largest suite after we complained about the lack of bathroom cleanliness in the initial room. We would recommend Room #1, great view of the Strait

Quaint B&B

Easy to get to from the airport or ferry terminal. Butchart Gardens nearby. Beach access very close. Quick access to main highway to downtown Victoria. Comfortable bed and very quiet. Excellent breakfast.

The property has the potential to be very nice...but is not well maintained nor clean. Many B&Bs are eclectic but this is over the top in that regard. Someone had used our toilet in the room and not flushed...not a nice thing to find. No one greeted us to check in and had left incorrect room information so we actually stayed in the wrong room...one that was not as nice as intended. Despite calling and sending texts we never got a response until seeing the owner at breakfast. She was very pleasant and we enjoyed a conversation with her. Honestly couldn't recommend staying there...

Amazingly Gorgeous & so Cozy!

We walked into our room & it felt like an oasis of beauty & relaxation. Breakfast was delightful. The view was stunning from our room. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced.

We were disappointed in our stay and felt the pictures and reviews were misleading. Our deluxe room was right on the freeway so very noisy. The hostess was unwelcoming, like we were doing her a favor by being there and the house and gardens, which we’d been lead to believe we could access, were unavailable and unkempt.

This is a very fancy home furnished totally with antiques, so was very different from the usual Airbnb. A real touch of class!! A formal hot breakfast was included, individually served to guests in a proper dining room on a very long table, using proper place settings!! Very unique, delicious & homemade by the hostess Wendy. My room came complete with everything one might need, including a very comfortable bed.
