Deceitful reception
The girls on morning duty of the reception are very helpful but the guy for evening could be more kind. I arrive on Friday 15 min to 7pm inquiring about street parking. The parking fee of this property is rather high 24 Euro per day. Sat and Sun parking along the street is free. And Fri street parking has a fee till 7pm. As a reception man of the hotel he should be helpful and give the right information. However, he suggested me to park in their garage because street parking on Sat is not free and 3 hours in maximum. A lot of spaces were available during my stay there on the weekend since the property is a little away from the center. I don't believe the guy is ignorant about the rule because for the whole Vienna Sat and Sun street parking in the allowed areas is ALL free. 🙄

Lovely hotel and great breakfast, in a nice area in Vienna, easily walk into city attractions. Some mould on bathroom wall needed attention/cleaning and record player in our room was broken which was a pity.

Hotel location is in a nice area of Vienna. Quiet but with some lovely coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant in the hotel itself had an interesting dinner menu and the food is very tasty - it’s a popular restaurant so would recommend booking ahead of time. Hotel room was of a decent size and relatively clean. Hotel reception staff were friendly. My one complaint is that the bath in my room did not drain properly and there was no bath mat so it was very slippery after the first use - would recommend requesting room with a walk-in shower if you are elderly or if your mobility is not very good.

Diseño súper moderno en combinación con elementos básicos, como cama y baño, muy cómodos. En una zona cool, y con posibilidad de acceder al propio restaurante de hotel, con mucha vida por la noche. Y, sin embargo, hay un silencio absoluto en las habitaciones. Algunas dependencias del hotel están remodelándose y se ven las obras. La terraza interior del hotel, visible desde las habitaciones, podría mejorarse para ser más agradable a la vista.

This hotel and it's location are great. My gripe about the cleanliness of the room I hope is noted as it's the only let down. The staff here were fabulous and kind. The location was just far enough away from maddening crowds but easy enough to get to if you wanted to.

Auf dem Weg zum Hotel ist man eher in etwas dreckigeren Straßen unterwegs, auch das eine oder andere Erotiketablissement kreuzt den Weg. Der Checkin verlief gut, das Zimmer war erst später fertig, wir waren aber auch vor 15 Uhr schon da. Das Zimmer an sich ist schön, jedoch sind Details wie ein schiefer TV, aufgequollenes Holz am Waschbecken oder eine etwas vergammelte Dusche nicht state of the Art, jedoch konnten wir bei dem Preis des Hotels sehr gut damit leben. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war ok, auf Wunsch gab es glutenfreies Gebäck. Süßspeisen, Säfte, Kaffee und Co waren vorhanden, die Möglichkeit ein Omlett zu erhalten leider nicht. Zimmerreinigung ist alle 2 Tage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Für ein Kurzwochenende aus Preis/Leistungssicht auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Billa und Straßenbahnen in die Stadtmitte unter 1km.

Overall the property was nice. The one thing that annoyed me was the restaurant / bar situation. The two are combined rather than being separate and are open to the public. This meant that they were often booked up and so we, as hotel guests, couldn't even make use of them.

Do NOT Book the Loft Room - we were cheated and mis-sold. Our room looked nothing like what is presented on the photo - instead we had a dark, no balcony room - far from the pictures. The pictures are not what you will get. When we asked the front desk why our room is so different to what is on the website, we were told they only had 3 balcony rooms. If we wanted the balcony room, we were supposed to leave a note at booking (?) even though leaving the note doesn't mean it's guaranteed. None of this is mentioned on the hotel listing. In fact, NONE of the photos actually represents the realistic view of the room. So you are not buying what you are sold. Hence it's hard to compare with other choices out there. We would not have booked what we have booked if we were shown the truth. There is also no coffee making facilities, no daily housekeeping. In the property description - it says there will be coffee making (NO), daily housekeeping (NO). Hence is a matter of luck what you get and it definitely may not be what you see on the pictures is what you will be getting. The hotel knows this pictures will attract you to book then when you confront them for a refund, they will give the lame excuse is non-refundable booking. How is it so when it is a completely different product to what is booked? Would you be happy if you were sold and paid for french fries and be getting a slice of bread in reality? We are seasoned travellers, is the first time the hotel is dishonest.

Unfortunately the Wifi didn’t work at all in the room I had, 416. The staff said the technician was “working on it” however it was useless the entire stay. In the lobby and restaurant was fine. Just frustrating when you are trying to plan your day. The breakfast was average and both days the hot food was cold. Good variety though. The bed was comfortable and sleep was easy so that was good. Bathroom was outdated, sink didn’t work and the shower is over a bath so good to know if you’re older!! Very Art Deco, which I knew. Staff were very friendly but overall, it was not the hotel for me. Good location and good transport to the Christmas markets, so that was the main reason we went there.

It is the only part of the trip/Vienna I didn't like. 5 nights in a hotel and to not once receive maid service. The room was also already very dusty when I arrived. It was very upsetting that then on my fourth night I went downstairs and explained I haven't had any service since I got here. The man apologised and said he didn't understand how that has happened, that he will send someone straight away to go do my room. I checked that he meant straight away now and the room number was correct he said yes. I waited in my room for an hour an half because I didn't want to be in the shower whilst a maid came. I arrived late to my dinner, got back to my room at 1am and still no one had been. And I hadn't been contacted either by the hotel to explain why a maid hadn't come. I also am upset that I didn't get the room I booked. It was claimed it was an upgrade but the room really is not what I wanted hence why I didn't book it. The room was too far away from the hotel door and unnecessarily long and high ceiling for me who was just travelling alone. I didn't like the shape of the room and how the bed was pushed to the end with lots of space behind me as I slept alone. I did express this at the desk that I didn't actually like the room but you said you couldn't do anything. A member of staff in the restaurant / bar was ridiculously rude and aggressive to me. It was a shocking experience. Then every time I walked through restaurant after they looked at me like death. Very upset by it.

Schöne Unterkunft in angesagtem Viertel, es gibt also viel fußläufig zu entdecken. In unserem Zimmer waren 1-2 Kleinigkeiten, die nicht optimal waren (z.B. Duschschlauch der nicht richtig angeschlossen war, was ich auch selbst beheben konnte). Geputzt wurde komischerweise nur an einem von 3 Tagen. Aber da ich selbst auch nicht jeden Tag zu Hause putze, fand ich es nicht dramatisch. Das Frühstück war lecker und hatte eine gute Auswahl zu bieten.

Hotel room was ok, interesting design but some of the fixtures were showing their wear and the shower head was broken. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. They don't have coffee in the rooms at the moment, even though it is advertised on their website and the booking information as one of the key things they offer. No one mentioned this when we checked in, and when I later asked about it, was told that there was no coffee available other than as part of the breakfast buffet at 24 euro per person, and treated as if I was insane for expecting something different. They also mentioned after we arrived that there was room cleaning only every 2 days--but we stayed for 3 nights and there was never any housekeeping done.

Top Lage des Hotels. Zimmer stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten sogar eine Dusche und Badewanne und einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank. Preis/Leistung , hervorragend!

Love the quirky rooms, staff helpful. Just missing instant coffee in rooms, think Vienna don’t do much instant coffee, just fruit teas or espresso
