「The only problem we had was regarding not having hot water. My son, a plumber has installed tankless hot water systems and was aware that if there is not enough flow the system will not turn on to heat the water. We found that if we turned on other faucets while using the shower hot water was available. I don't know how most people would know this.」

「The place was comfortable and relatively clean. The area is quiet but we apparently came at hay balling time which caused a lot of in and out on the property. Not really a problem but we didn’t know what was going on for a while. The “treehouse” was perfect for our young adults. There was a bit of confusion on the listing. It said two bathrooms. 「This place was so cute. We immediately noticed how clean it smelled when we opened the door- & it was spotless. Everything was thoughtfully stocked (bathroom & kitchen). The place was very cozy and styled well, and everything was up-to-date. Not the most beautiful area of town (but maybe that’s just St James) -it’s a little old/run-down- but we felt safe enough walking the dog through the neighborhood. And that’s huge for 2 women traveling alone. Definitely recommend this place!」

「We had a stay of 12 friends for fantasy football group and the place was perfect. Downstairs is a communal area with the kitchen and plenty of space, chairs and tables. Upstairs was another living room area with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The lake was incredible and the area surrounding the barn from the fire pit to the golf course was amazing. We will be coming back here.」
