The large lobby with tables that could be used for work planning sessions was good. The front desk staff were very well mannered and used to communicating in English, so it was easy to get assistance.
This is a great place to stay. My room was very clean, spacious, and quiet. The hotel itself has a nice aesthetic with it's decor, natural lighting, and well-tended landscaping. It's located on a side street making it quieter. The staff were exceptional - always polite, professional, helpful, and pleasant. There could have been better/more amenities in the provided. The only complaint was that the lobby TV was always on, usually to CNN. I had to ask them to turn down the volume during breakfast.

It had a lovely lobby but no elevator to 3rd floor which didn’t bother me but could bother others. The room was clean and comfortable-breakfast was basic but good
Quaint French influenced style small hotel I've would expect up in the central highlands of Vietnam. But here in the city, lovely. Would highly recommend.
This is a very cozy property with old feels to it. My room was clean but the wifi is slow, electricity keeps on shutting off the circuit breaker and was told to get up and replace the key card to reset the circuit breaker. Very inconvenient. Place also required to remove our shoes and the wood floor is so slippery when walking on it with sock on. it is annoying when having to remove our shoes and carry them to the room. other than that it is decent place to stay but a little annoying with taking off the shoes thingy.
Room was nice and spacious. Really close to the Vientiane night market, walking distance. Also the morning market, Temples, Catholic church, and variety of restaurants. Front desk was very helpful and nice. Bed was okay, still comfy. Environment was safe.Only caution is the floor is a little slippery especially with socks. My advice to you is to be sober going up the stairs. Other than that. This hotel was great.
The location is top. The staff speaks english very very poor. It‘s hard to communicate. Would be better if only one person is able to talk in english instead of 3 guys with no english skills. Breakfast was quite expensive for what it was. For our 3.5 week stay we had it 3 times, till we found better spots outside.
First of all I'll say all the good things about the hotel. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. The front desk staff helped us to find the night market, told us where to get SIM cards, and booked a bus for us to Vang Vieng. They were always very friendly. As to the room, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The wooden floors were beautifully polished. The artwork and decor of the hotel is tasteful. The shower worked well and so did the WiFi. The location is great. You can stroll along the Mekong River or go to the night market. You can walk or take a tuk-tuk up to their Arch of Triumph (Patuxai) very easily.
As to the bad things - the omelet was miniscule. The staff forgot to get us more coffee after we'd asked them. They pointed us toward the wrong night market. The safe didn't work.
Overall - really lovely place to stay. Much more comfortable than a backpacker's hostel. Would recommend it to anyone.
Great value-for-money, very conveniently located for access to a variety of food places. Room and general access areas are clean. Shoes off policy on the stairs, and please note access to guest rooms are only via stairs.
Nice hotel near everything you would ever need. Rooms were clean although like much of SE Asia they are in need of mild and mildew control. Staff were friendly wth limited English. A few times I had to ask for attention as they looked at their phones instead of the customer in the lobby.
