"This hotel was one of our favorite things about a 10-day trip to PR. We we loved the quiet retreat, including being able to stargaze and hear the birds. The open-air style of the room was fantastic -- we stayed dry during rain and saw very few bugs. Carmen and her team are friendly and helpful. The pool is also beautiful! It was well worth the stay a few minutes outside of either town."

Like most places in Puerto Rico, be prepared to hear some critters and roosters. We absolutely loved this, however, if you are sound sensitive, they provide earplugs The owners were extremely nice and immediately made us feel like family. We could not have ever asked for a better location. Ever. Everything was right around our house. A beautiful sea glass beach, amazing restaurants, and good old family Mart. If you are staying on Vieques, it is imperative that you will rent a car, as many of the beaches are spread out through the entire island. John and Mike made our experience on Vieques unforgettable, and if you plan on coming to Vieques soon, there is no better place to stay then Casa de Amistad! "
