Our group of 3 stayed in the chicken coop and it was fantastic. Cozy, comfortable suite with the most gorgeous view from the bedroom window. Place was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Property has a perfect wooden boardwalk for watching the aurora borealis! Great stay - would definitely come back!

It is a fairly economical location in Vik. Very close to the puffin cliffs. Room was very sparse and had a very strong sewer odour upon arrival. We only stayed one night and that is all i can reallt recommend.

What a great place to stay, the room was very nice and the common area spaces were comfortable and they even have a shared kitchen and dining space to prepare your own meals and hang out. Would highly recommend!

I got a single twin room for my stay for $116. In my opinion, it was overpriced as the sheets and comforter were stained and there were dead bugs all over my curtains in my room. The front desk person wasn’t helpful and I had to ask for the key and where my room was when I checked in after she simply just confirmed my reservation and said nothing else. It also was odd that there was one shared tv remote in hallway for all the rooms on my floor? On a positive note.. the hangout areas were nice and I appreciated the big kitchen area as Iceland is expensive and it was nice to have the space to cook a meal. I had a shared bathroom that was clean as well. Overall it was just ok for one night.

We stayed in one of the rooms (not one of the camp sites). There was originally a small mix up with the rooms (they gave us keys to the wrong room) but fixed it immediately and were helpful. Room was nice, had a sink available. Bathroom was shared with other guests in the building. Bathroom was nice and staff kept it clean.

Farmhouse Lodge provided a very basic, no-frills room with private bath. Room was clean, good location near Vik. One small bath towel per person was provided for our two night stay, no hand towels or face cloth. No housekeeping, no in-room coffee for early risers. Did not purchase breakfast. Property has a strict 4 pm check in policy, do not show up at 3:30 and expect your room or friendly conversation.

Our room was with shared bathroom and both were clean. The building itself is clean and well maintained. The only flaw is the shared kitchen it was dirty, microwave was very dirty and all surfaces too. We had very easy self check in, and located our room quickly.

Happy with everything but the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Facilities were clean. Location worked well. Bathroom for the 4 person room was incredibly small. Tiny shower area with no curtain or barrier resulted in everything getting wet . No squeegee to try to somewhat clean up the water.

Check in was super easy, and the directions given to guide us to reception & to the guesthouse were very helpful to have. A spacious room with a little seating area and a large bathroom. There is no fridge in the room itself, but there is a large shared kitchen in the building that you can put your things in and hang out with some other guests who are travelling the country. We had a comfortable stay here!
