Très bon accueil. Cadre magnifique. La chambre est spacieuse deco moderne dans ce cadre de mas restauré. Chambre tout confort . La piscine est belle et sécurisée. Nous avons marché sur la propriété.. Très agréable

If you read the website, the hotel state to offer breakfast, lunch and diner. That is NOT TRUE. No lunch during weekdays. We made a long trip to get to the hotel and expect to eat lunch. Not get in the car again. The quality of the local restaurants is "not up to international standards". We drove to two restaurants in villages which were given by the reception. In the second we decided to eat something. People only speak catalan; hard to communicate. It causes much irritation which is unnecessary. PUT THE CORERECT INFORATMATION ON YOUR WEBSITE when the restaurant is NOT open. Tip for the reception: advise people to eat lunch in Girona (only 16 km drive).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Een verborgen parel in de buurt van Girona Mas Vidal is zonder twijfel een van de mooiste boutique hotels waar wij ooit hebben verbleven. Vanaf het moment dat je het terrein oprijdt, word je omringd door rust, natuur en de authentieke charme van het Spaanse platteland. Het voelt alsof je een verborgen paradijs hebt ontdekt. De kamers zijn werkelijk schitterend. Alles is splinternieuw, maar tegelijkertijd stijlvol en klassiek ingericht in de sfeer van een traditionele Spaanse finca. Elk detail klopt. Je waant je echt in een sprookje. De gastvrijheid is ongeëvenaard. Het personeel doet er alles aan om je verblijf perfect te maken. Je voelt je geen gast, maar onderdeel van de familie. Ook culinair is Mas Vidal een absolute aanrader. Het ontbijt is een feestje, met vers fruit, lokale producten en heerlijke eieren die op iedere gewenste manier worden bereid. Overdag geniet je van authentieke Spaanse tapas en 's avonds wacht een gastronomische ervaring in restaurant 1430. De gerechten zijn met zorg bereid en de sfeer is ontspannen en stijlvol. Een extra pluspunt voor gezinnen: terwijl wij rustig genoten van het diner, konden onze kinderen heerlijk zwemmen in het prachtig verwarmde zwembad. Dat maakte de avond voor iedereen compleet. Mas Vidal is een unieke plek waar luxe, rust, gastronomie en persoonlijke aandacht perfect samenkomen. Wie de regio Girona bezoekt en op zoek is naar een bijzondere overnachting, mag deze verborgen parel absoluut niet missen.

We arrived and were given a room reeking of caustic insect killer. We complained and were shown two additional rooms that stank of chemicals. The check in desk clerk claimed, multiple times, that the cleaning staff sprayed fragrance and that she had no knowledge of anyone on staff spraying chemical in any of the rooms. We complained again the following morning given the massive headache I had from the chemicals. I was informed there was nothing to be done. We returned to our room to an invasion of ants. I do not mean one or two. Hundreds of ants all over the floor in the bedroom. We used hot water and a towel to clean up what we could, moved everything possible out of the room into our car, and then used eucalyptus and tea tree oil to attempt to protect ourselves overnight. I did not sleep. This morning the front desk clerk informed my husband they knew the hotel has a problem with ants but, “we’re working on it.” Meaning the check in clerk blatantly lied to us and knowingly put us in a room filled with chemicals that are dangerous for humans. And then gaslight me when I complained before our second night. Further, the hotel is between two loud highways. We attempted to sleep the first night with the doors open to air the chemicals out. The noise was astounding. The restaurant menu was overcomplicated. The pool was okay but set up for a family looking for a cheap holiday more than a retreat for anyone. I do not recommend. Avoid.
